Time Flies

We are on our way home from Nebraska where we attended our grandson's high school graduation.  It seems only yesterday he was a sweet, cute little boy who just got his first glasses.  Now he is a cute, sweet young man (6'6") with contacts and a bright future ahead. He will be attending the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where he has been accepted into the business honors program--as was his brother who is 2 years older. A new chapter in his life will begin in August when he enrolls in school, as it will in his parents' life as they become empty-nesters. Change is good but painful sometimes!

In a couple of weeks we will attend another grandson's graduation from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology.  He has accepted a job at Honda as a mechanical engineer so will be moving 3 hours away.  His sister graduated from the University of Illinois in December and now has a job as a chemist. We are excited to be taking them on a Rick Steves' Best of the Adriatic Tour soon, as a graduation gift.

Almost every day I have been having flashbacks and memories of the adorable things our grandchildren  said and did as little kids. I miss those sweet children so much but am proud and excited about the choices they have made and the great things they are doing and becoming.

I, too, feel as if a new chapter in my life has begun. We are almost finished with the Glory Barn so expect to have conferences, worship nights, and other events there on a regular basis. I also finished my workbook on Integrated Healing so I'm planning to be doing more things in that area. I have resigned my responsibilities with Martinsville on the Move in anticipation of the new things coming. It is an exciting time to be alive!

I pray you are experiencing good changes in your life also.  It is helpful to hear what others are going through and how they are handling the changes, so I would be glad for you to leave comments, or message me personally.
