Love Does by Bob Goff

      Our daughter-in-law, Amy, gave me a new book for Christmas entitled, Love Does by Bob Goff.  I highly recommend it!
     Bob Goff is one of those people that you wish you knew--or better yet--that you wish you were like.  He steps out boldly into situations where he could fail, or look foolish, but instead he enjoys the process and uses the situation to have fun, and to bring others into the fun with him.  Through it all he learns and imparts life lessons.  He is so creative in his approach to living! To him life is a great adventure.  That's the way I want to live!  Don't you?
     Just reading stories of his adventures makes me want to approach life much more adventurously.  Why am I so timid?  Why do I miss opportunities to really live life with abandon?  Instead, I get bogged down in the dailiness of life?  Why not turn the dailyness into an epiphany?  Why do I hesitate to step out boldly with love & joy and experience all that God is offering?  The story of his adventures makes me not want to miss any opportunity to live and to love!
    I believe this will be my New Year's Resolution for 2014--to REALLY LIVE and to REALLY LOVE!

John Belt: Establishing the Throne of God in the Earth


John BeltManifest His Glory
Isaiah 60:1-2 "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee...the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee."

A central role of us being here on earth is to establish the Throne of God where we are. Whenever we worship, pray, preach or engage in any activity of God's Kingdom, it is so that God's authority and rule would be established in the hearts of people, cities, regions and nations. Our role is to manifest His glory in such a way as to displace darkness with His Light. God has intentions to use us to affect all that surrounds us. Everything around us should be affected by His Kingdom glory.
Expanding the Borders
Numbers 14:24 "But My servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed Me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it."

Through our persistence and consistency in worship, intercession and acts of faith, we expand the borders of what is currently established concerning the realm of Heaven on earth. If we lose sight of this purpose that God has for us being here we will drift aimlessly into things that are not fulfilling, but leave us empty and confused as to why we are here. Like Caleb, we need a "different spirit" that is exemplary in faith. For he who is born of God "overcomes" the world, possessing and inheriting the promises. (1 John 5:4)
Affecting Your Atmosphere
Daniel 7:25 "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High..."
It is absolutely needed for us to keep our eyes on the intentional purposes of God for us being on the planet. Every day is an opportunity to affect the atmosphere of where we are. 
Don't allow the enemy to weary you, causing you to lose focus and bring you into an oppressive state of mind. Jesus gave His life so that we, first of all, would find freedom and then be able to be the conduits of His glory in the earth.

He has given us His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the most powerful weapon that we have because He is the very Person of God inside of us! You cannot do better than that. Therefore, live out your privilege of being a dwelling place of God. The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in THE HOLY GHOST. This is a basic foundation of Kingdom living.

Romans 14:17 "For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."
The Church should put much more emphasis on the Holy Spirit, because we cannot overcome or glorify Jesus without Him. It is an awful pride to think we can live without this intimate communion with the Spirit. We are to be completely dependent upon Him.
Be On Course
Finding consistency in our lives is truly an important factor to keep us in a place of effectiveness for His glory. Our lives cannot be like "teeter-totters" that shift one way, then go the other way. Divine focus is an essential element that steers us like the rudder does a ship into the place of consistent lives before His Presence. Imagine a ship that is constantly going off course. It may get back on course over and over again but so much time is wasted. That is why Paul tells us to run the race "to win".

1 Corinthians 9:24 "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain."

There is a way that we run that causes us to have victory. It is not enough to be on the course, we must be ON course the entire way. To the level that we maintain our focus, we will also maintain consistency establishing the Throne of God in the earth.
His Throne
Revelation 4:2-3 "Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in Heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He whosat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald."

A throne represents authority or who is in power. There are "thrones" that are established in every place. But only one throne should be in place. Jesus came telling us to essentially pray the Kingdom and will of God in the earth, that His authority and dominion may be established.
Wherever we are, we are to be establishing His Throne. This is not our personal throne, our ministry or whatever would have to do with personal agenda. This is Heaven on earth where God's glory is changing atmospheres and the heart's of men. When His Throne is established, Heaven invades earth, His power is demonstrated and lives are changed.

      I love new inventions and creative ideas, don't you?  I came across this article this morning that has some 'far out' things that are coming--possibly as soon as 2014!

    This is such an encouraging word from Francis Frangipane!  Are you praying for your city?  Are you one who is "standing in the gap"?  God is moved by hearts crying out to Him for mercy.  I love this statement from Francis, "God works with man to establish the future and, in the process of determining reality, He always prepares a merciful alternative."  Let's be those who are working with God to bring forth merciful alternatives.  What a privilege!

When Abraham was confronted with the possibility of Sodom's destruction, he did not immediately jump on the "Destroy Sodom" bandwagon; instead, he went before the Lord and prayed for mercy for the city. 
Abraham's prayer is an amazing study on the effect a mercy-motivated intercessor has on the heart of God. Indeed, my object here is to gaze into the heart of God as it is revealed in the discourse between the Lord and Abraham.

When we look at Abraham's prayer, we discover an amazing power granted us in intercession. And what is that? God is looking for a mercy reason that would justify Him delaying orFruitfulness in the valleycanceling wrath. We must not belittle this principle, for in it is great hope for our land as well. The mercy reason for delay is found in the compassionate prayer of an intercessor.

Let us consider the Lord's initial response to Sodom's sin. First, He revealed to Abraham, His servant, what He was about to do. Why? Because God desired Abraham to intercede. When the Lord informed His servant of what was wrong in the world, it was not so that Abraham could simply criticize it, but so that Abraham would intercede for mercy. Remember, God delights in mercy (Micah 7:18) and takes "no pleasure in the death of the wicked" (Ezekiel 33:11). The Lord always seeks for opportunities of mercy. Therefore, let's take note of how Abraham approached the Almighty:

"Abraham came near and said, 'Will You indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked? Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city; will You indeed sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous who are in it? Far be it from You to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?'" (Genesis 18:23-25).

Notice, Abraham did not pray from a place of anger. There was no finger-pointing vindictiveness in Abraham's soul. Somehow we have come to believe that non-compromising Christians must also be angry. Abraham never compromised with Sodom's depraved culture, yet he was above fleshly reaction. In fact, throughout his prayer, Abraham never mentioned what was wrong in Sodom. He appealed, instead, to the mercy and integrity of the Lord.

This is vitally important for us, because Jesus said, "If you are Abraham's children, do the deeds of Abraham" (John 8:39). One of Abraham's most noteworthy deeds involved his intercessory prayer for Sodom, the most perverse city in the world!

Abraham first acknowledged the Lord's integrity, then he spoke to the Lord's mercy.

"Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city; will You indeed sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty?"(Genesis 18:24).

The Lord knew that it would be unjust to slay the righteous with the wicked; Abraham's prayer did not enlighten the Lord of some unknown fact. But the nature of life on earth is this: God works with man to establish the future and, in the process of determining reality, He always prepares a merciful alternative.
Joseph betrayedIn other words, urgent, redemptive prayer shoots straight through the mercy door and enters God's heart. This door is never shut, especially since we have a High Priest, Jesus Christ, ministering at the mercy seat in the heavens (Hebrews 8:1). It is open each and every time we pray.

Listen to how the Lord answered Abraham's prayer for mercy:"If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the whole place on their account" (Genesis 18:26).

How the truth of God's mercy flies in the face of those so eager to judge their nation! Incredibly, the Lord said He would spare the whole of Sodom if He found fifty righteous people there. Now keep this in mind: the Hebrew word for "spare" means more than "not destroy"; it also means "to forgive or pardon." This is a tremendous revelation about the living God. He will minimize, delay, or even cancel a day of reckoning as long as Christ-inspired prayer is being offered for sinners!

Time and again throughout the Scriptures the Lord proclaims an ever present truth about His nature: He is "slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness" (Exodus 34:6). Do we believe this? Here it is, demonstrated right before our eyes in the Scriptures. He tells us plainly that a few righteous people scattered in a city can preserve that area from divine wrath.
Abraham knew the love of God. He was an intimate friend of God's. 
Abraham, in truth, had a clear view into the heart of God based on his own experiences. This interceding patriarch had seen the Almighty bless, prosper, and forgive him, so he pressed God's mercy toward its limits.

"What if there are forty?"
The Lord would spare it for forty.
Abraham bargained, "Thirty?"
He would spare it for thirty.
"Twenty?"
You will touch others with the substance of what you have gained
He finally secured the Lord's promise not to destroy the city if He could find just ten righteous people there. On God's scales, wrath is on one side and mercy on the other. Put the entire city of Sodom with all its sin and perversion on one side. The scales tip toward wrath as the weightiness of advanced wickedness runs rampant through an entire city. Let's assume that there were two hundred thousand evil people in Sodom. It is weighed heavily on the side of evil. Yet on the other side, place just ten righteous individuals. As the ten are placed on the scale, the spiritual weight of the righteous, with just ten, tips the scales toward mercy!

In God's heart, the substance of the righteous far outweighs the wickedness of the evil! Herein we discover what we are seeking in the heart of God through prayer: the Lord would spare (forgive) sinful Sodom, with its gangs of violent homosexuals, because of the influence of ten godly people who dwelt within it!
How About Your Community?
Now, let's think of your city: Are there ten good people among you? Consider your region. Do you think there might be one hundred praying people living within its borders, people who are pleading with God for mercy? What about nationwide? Do you suppose there might be ten thousand people interceding for your country? God said He would spare Sodom for ten righteous people. Do you think God would spare your nation for ten thousand righteous?

I lived in a metropolitan area in the United States that has about two hundred thousand people. I can list by name scores of righteous individuals, including pastors, intercessors, youth workers, black folks, white folks, Hispanic folks, Native Americans, Asian Americans, Christian business people, moms, dads, godly teenagers, praying grandmothers, secretaries, policemen, and on and on who live there – far more than the ten righteous needed to save a place like Sodom. There are many here who care about this city.
You will touch others with the substance of what you have gainedThink about your church and the greater church community in your city. Aren't there at least ten honorable people who sincerely care about your community, who desire that God would bring revival? 
Remember, the Lord said He would spare Sodom for the sake of the ten.

My plea in this message is that you would see yourself as one who is standing in the gap for your city. See if there are others in your community who will pray with you. The power of prayer can release a tsunami of mercy that can topple strongholds and set captives free in your region.

Finally, let us not give up our communities to the influences of Hell. God is able to raise up a standard against wickedness. In fact, He says He looks for a man who will stand in the gap, that He might not strike the earth in His wrath. Will you be that one? You see, the true measure of spirituality is not how angry we become toward sinners, but how Christlike; our mission is not to see men destroyed, but redeemed.

Lord Jesus, forgive me for devaluing the power of prayer. Forgive me for underestimating how passionately You desire to reveal Your mercy. Lord, give me grace to be one who never ceases to cry out to You for mercy. Lord, let me not base my obedience on what my eyes see or my ears hear, but upon the revelation of Your mercy; let me build my life on Thee. Amen!

China's Growth in the U.S.

    I received this email yesterday.  Were you aware of how quickly China is buying up U.S. real estate?  I checked some of the facts and they were true so I am assuming all of it is.  If you discover a discrepancy let me know and I will correct it.


A Little Known Reality.
In the future China will employ millions of American workers and dominate thousands of small communities all over the United States . Chinese acquisition of U.S. businesses set a new all-time record last year, and it is on pace to shatter that record this year.

The Smithfield Foods acquisition is an example. Smithfield Foods is the largest pork producer and processor in the world. It has facilities in 26 U.S. states and it employs tens of thousands of Americans. It directly owns 460 farms and has contracts with approximately 2,100 others. But now a Chinese company has bought it for $ 4.7 billion, and that means that the Chinese will now be the
most important employer in dozens of rural communities all over America .
Thanks in part to our massively bloated trade deficit with China, the Chinese have trillions of dollars to spend. They are only just starting to exercise their economic muscle.

It is important to keep in mind that there is often not much of a difference between the Chinese government and Chinese corporations. In 2011, 43 percent of all profits in China were produced by companies where the Chinese government had a controlling interest in.
Last year a Chinese company spent $2.6 billion to purchase AMC entertainment  one of the largest movie theater chains in the United States. Now that Chinese company controls more movie ticket sales than anyone else in the world.
But China is not just relying on acquisitions to expand its economic power. Economic beachheads are being established all over America . For example, Golden Dragon Precise Copper Tube Group, Inc. recently broke ground on a $100 million plant in Thomasville , Alabama. Many of the residents of Thomasville , Alabama will be glad to have jobs, but it will also become yet another community that will now be heavily dependent on communist China. 
And guess where else Chinese companies are putting down roots? Detroit.  Chinese-owned companies are investing in American businesses and new vehicle technology, selling everything from seat belts to shock absorbers in retail stores, and hiring experienced engineers and designers in an effort to soak up the talent and expertise of domestic automakers and their suppliers. If you recently purchased an American-made vehicle, there is a really good chance that it has a number of Chinese parts in it. Industry analysts are hard-pressed to put a number on the Chinese suppliers operating in the United States .
China seems particularly interested in acquiring energy resources in the United States. For example, China is actually mining for coal in the mountains of Tennessee. Guizhou Gouchuang Energy Holdings Group spent 616 million dollars to acquire Triple H Coal Co. in Jacksboro, Tennessee. At the time, that acquisition really didn't make much news, but now a group of conservatives in Tennessee is trying to stop the Chinese from blowing up their mountains and taking their coal.
And pretty soon China may want to build entire cities in the United States just like they have been doing in other countries. Right now China is actually building a city larger than Manhattan just outside Minsk , the capital of Belarus.
Are you starting to get the picture? China is on the rise. If you doubt this, just read the following:
# When you total up all imports and exports, China is now the number one trading nation on the entire planet.
# Overall, the U.S. has run a trade deficit with China over the past decade that comes to more than 2.3 trillion dollars.
# China has more foreign currency reserves than anyone else on the planet.
# China now has the largest new car market in the entire world.
# China now produces more than twice as many automobiles as the United States does.
# After being bailed out by U.S. taxpayers, GM is involved in 11 joint ventures with Chinese companies.
# China is the number one gold producer in the world.
# The uniforms for the U.S. Olympic team were made in China.
# 85% of all artificial Christmas trees the world over are made in China.
# The new World Trade Center tower in New York is going to include glass imported from China .
# China now consumes more energy than the United States does.
# China is now in aggregate the leading manufacturer of goods in the entire world.
# China uses more cement than the rest of the world combined.
# China is now the number one producer of wind and solar power on the entire globe.
# China produces 3 times as much coal and 11 times as much steel as the United States does.
# China produces more than 90 percent of the global supply of rare earth elements.
# China is now the number one supplier of components that are critical to the operation of any national defense system.
# In published scientific research articles China is expected to become number one in the world very shortly.
And what we have seen so far may just be the tip of the iceberg.
For now, I will just leave you with one piece of advice - learn to speak Chinese.

Kathie Walters: Getting In And Out Of Your Boat

Have you ever thought of something you would like to do, but you couldn't figure out how it would work or how it would succeed? So, you dropped the idea "until later."
What about the book or booklet you were going to write, but never got around to it? What about the art classes you wanted to take? What about the place you promised yourself to go? Or the person or ministry you really wanted to hang out with?

You know, we only have one life to live down here. You may as well have some adventures. I tell the older people, the grandpas and grandmas – this is the best opportunity you've ever had to get up and do something adventurous.
Put up your sails
How do you know if it is going to work? Well, sometimes you don't know; you have to "give it a go," as they say in New Zealand, or, as Janice's husband, David, says to her, "Put your sail up and see if the wind will catch it."

You have to takeopportunities – doors can open and close, and windows of opportunity can open and close. If you don't have your spiritual antenna up, you can miss those doors, because you are "busy." Did you know you can be so busy working for Jesus you can totally miss a God opportunity? Jesus doesn't require you to work for Him; He wants you to yield to Him so that He can work THROUGH you. Much easier that way.

Some opportunities mean that you are in the boat. But you have to push off from the shore. You have to leave familiar territory – your comfort zone – and launch out, not exactly knowing all the details on the map either.
Where Is Your Comfort Zone?
Sometimes you have to get OUT of the boat if the boat has become your comfort zone. Remember Peter? He got out of his comfort zone, didn't he? A boat...that's his territory – he was comfortable there. He was a fisherman, and guess what? Fishermen practically live in boats. A very familiar place for him. He had probably managed to keep safe in all kinds of weather before now. But suddenly, Peter saw Jesus walking on the water. Do you know, just like you, Peter had never actually seen anyone do that before?

I'm sure he had eyes like saucers. "Whaaaat?" But before he knew it, he realized this was an opportunity, and he leapt into an unknown sphere of faith. He couldn't wait for Jesus to get in the boat, because that particular opportunity would pass. He leapt into action, didn't he?

Next thing you know – there he is walking on the water. Whoooa, amazing! Of course we all know he got His eyes off Jesus and had to get back in the boat, but at least he had aPush out from the shorego...at least he knew in the future that's a possibility.

You know, sometimes there aren't six months for you to debate about how to respond to an open door. You have an idea of something. But that's not enough – you have to push out from the shore, you, have to raise the sail. You have to let the wind catch the sail. (Photo courtesy: NOAA)
Now Is Not The Time To Stay In Your Comfort Zone
Do you know that in Ireland in the fifth and sixth centuries there were many preachers in the monasteries? During that Celtic revival the monasteries would have about 4,000 young men and women. They were like our Bible colleges. They healed the sick, preached the Gospel, and raised the dead. Some of them, called the Peregrini, would get into a boat off the shores of Ireland; the boat had no engine, no oars, and no rudder. They hoisted the sail and trusted God to send the winds to take them where they were meant to go. Brendan the Navigator had many miraculous adventures that way. He even sailed to America ("the Land of Promise," he called it.)

Let the winds take you outSo, what about you? You can stay in your comfort zone – in your familiar boat, or you can raise the sail and let the winds take you out and into the purposes of God. Peter was probably quite successful as a fisherman. He was comfortable there – it's what he knew. But He met Jesus, and Jesus really turned his boat upside down. There he was in his comfort-zone life, and suddenly he met a Man unlike any other man he had ever met. One day Jesus said, "Hey Peter, leave all that fishing, get out of your boat. I have some other fish to fry" (Kathie's interpretation, but it's good – and Scriptural).

Peter had to make a decision, didn't he? Jesus didn't say, "I will give you six months to think it over, and if you feel so inclined, well you can come with me." He just said to Peter, "Follow Me,"and probably carried on walking.
Are you ready to hoist the sail? Are you going to push away from the shore? If you want things to change, you have to do something different. I don't believe it's the will of God that you are in a job that you hate, or a ministry or church you can hardly stand. That's immoral, really, as you will never give it your best. He puts His desires in your heart, so that when you serve Him, it's delightful, because it's in your heart.

What's really is in your heart? Keep your antenna up. Hoist the sail, let the wind come and take you where He wants you to go.

An Interesting Fact From Promise Keepers

     Promise Keepers points out the responsibility, and influence of men leading their families in worship. The group reports, “When a child is the first to attend church, 3½ percent of the families follow. When a wife/mom is the first to attend church, 17 percent of the families follow. When a dad/husband is the first to attend church, 93 percent of the families follow. ”...

A central message of Promise Keepers is that men need to be warriors for their faith, family, marriages, churches, communities and nation.
“There is an all-out assault taking place on anyone who stands for biblical truth,” the organization explains. “Rarely a day goes by where we don’t hear of someone being criticized – or even outright attacked – for affirming the morals and values that only a few decades ago were the norm in society. The bombardment of sin is destroying families and communities – but men of God are rising up to fight!”

Without making his wants known to any man, but to God alone, over a million, four hundred thousand pounds ($7,000,000) were sent to him for the building and maintaining of these orphan homes. When the writer first visited them, near the time of Mr. Muller's death, there were five immense buildings of solid granite, capable of accommodating two thousand orphans. In all the years since the first orphans arrived the Lord had sent food in due time, so that they had never missed a meal for want of food.

When David lost his family and the families of his men to the Amalekites in 1 Samuel 30, he gave God a gift. He chose to turn his heart toward Him. The Bible says he “strengthened himself in the Lord.” 
What does that look like? In a moment of deep pain, David chose to rely on the names of God because he knew that the name of God, the acts of God and the glory of God are one; they are inseparable. Consider what that means—you do not have a God who is Jehovah-Rapha but fails to heal. You do not have a God who is Jehovah-Shalom but fails to bring peace. You do not have a God who is Jehovah-Jireh but fails to provide. David sought God’s face:
  • I will call on the name of Jehovah-Tsidkenu: the Lord my righteousness; pure in action, morally perfect. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Mishpat: the Lord our justice; the unbiased, impartial One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Checed: the Lord who is merciful; the Lord, loving, kind, courteous; the overlooking One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Mekaddesh: the Lord who sanctifies; the pure One, who is clean without stain. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Magen: the Lord our shield; the protecting, hiding overshadowing One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Shalom: the Lord is peace; the calm, content, preparing One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Shamah; the Lord is there; the patient, revealing, disclosing One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Rapha: the Lord is healing; the creating, righteous, restorative One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Jireh: the Lord provides; the knowing, seeing, giving One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Nissi: the Lord our victorious banner; the offensive (advancing) One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Rohi: the Lord our Shepherd; the strong, leading, protecting One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Ahavah: the Lord is love, patient and kind; the caring, empathetic One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Elohim: the Lord is worthy of worship; the glorious, incomparable, all-powerful One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Qanna: the Lord is jealous; the love-stricken jealous One, who is angry on my behalf. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Elyon: the Lord and supreme God; Deliverer of all that exists. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-El Olam: the Lord is eternal; the uncaused, self-creating, self-existing One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Kadesh: the Lord who is holy; the pure, undefiled and uncompromised One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Shaddai: the Lord is mighty; the omnipotent, all-powerful One, infinite in strength. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Owr: the Lord is light; the luminous, glowing, radiant One. 
  • I will call on Jehovah-Kabod: the Lord of weighty glory; the rich and splendorous One. 
This is the God who will protect you! This is the God who will provide for you. This is the God who sees you. He knows your distress. He knows where you are. He knows your heart for Him—and you will not fail, because He will not fail.
The best gift you and I could ever give God is to do as David did and turn our hearts toward Him—to open our hearts to Him and His will (Matthew 11:30). This is an incredible gift that means the world to Him. It will impact His heart at a depth that will take us by surprise.

Now let me leave us with this. Not quite two weeks ago I was sitting in my office and I had a vision. A sparrow was on a wall, looking very intently. The season had changed and it was cold. All of a sudden, Psalm 84 came to my mind:

"How lovely is Your tabernacle, O LORD of Hosts! My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the LORD. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young - even Your altars, O LORD of hosts, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; they will still be praising You."

"Watch carefully over these next several weeks for a season is now upon you of great change. Change is now here with you, and in the midst of this change watch carefully, for it will affect greatly your young and your young's young. Watch carefully! For this is a time not only to position yourself in My tabernacle and find your place in praising Me, but in the midst of your positioning yourself, watch carefully, for the nest now will change.

"I will change how you have secured your nest, and only from the revelation of My house can your house be built properly. This is a time at this change of season, for you to watch. For the nest that you once had will now change and your young and your children's young will learn to protect themselves in a new way. And you will continue watching from My Tabernacle until the next two generations learn how to watch and build their own nests with Me."

Right now many of us are doing our Christmas shopping, and it is easy to focus on new things we wish we could have. We live in a consumer culture that revolves around having more “stuff.” Our status is based on money, and we are expected to dedicate all our time to achieving financial success.
Shop til you drop johnivaraAt Christmas, we are bombarded by messages to bow down to our cultural god ofmammon when we should be worshiping the God who cared so little for money that he entered human existence to lay in a watering trough.
This is a good time to reflect on a wonderful saying of the rabbis. They asked the question,
Who is rich?
And gave a simple, but profound answer:
He who is satisfied with what he has.” (Avot 4:1)
Many of us don’t see the amazing prosperity that we have, not just in comparison to poor of the world today, but in comparison to everybody in the world not many years ago!
If you think about it, your own great-grandparents likely had only a few changes of clothes, worked hard to just make ends meet, and had little savings. But you don’t think of them as “impoverished.” That was just the norm back then.
And consider, our homes are more comfort-laden than even the palaces of yesterday’s kings and queens! They hardly dreamed of electric lights and central heat, much less mobile phones and Google. How can we not feel rich in comparison?
If you want to be especially encouraged, watch this 5 minute video, “200 Years that Changed the World.” Hans Rosling shows that most of the world has been greatly blessed in the past century by increases in health, education and income. Before 1830, the life expectancy in the wealthiest country in the world was about 40 years old. Today, even the poorest countries now have average life expectancies greater than 40. That, indeed, is something to be thankful for.

As we celebrate God’s great gift to us this year in Christ, may we seek first his kingdom, rather than worrying about the things we have or don’t have. And may we learn to be content in every circumstance, knowing that God abundantly supplies all our needs.
I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. Philippians 4:11-13

I just saw a whirlwind released from the 3rd Heaven – the highest Heaven where God is seated on the Throne. And that whirlwind is totally encircling the 2nd Heaven. I don't know what's going on, but during these 10 days something is breaking!

The Lord is releasing a whirlwind over Washington, DC. It is a day of turning; things are turning, thrones are turning over, and power is shifting. Things are shifting in Washington DC. The King is going to be enthroned! And over Rockefeller Square in New York, we say a whole new re-alignment of the structure of economy in this land is now turning. I Am, and what is been held up now and held back will start being given over. Lord, we decree it today!

There's a new news to report; there will be new news to report. They'll be a shift in the media it will be right to say that God is God and every man a liar. God will be true and every man a liar! And I saw that same swirling over Mayo Clinics and over Johns Hopkins Universities, and over the major hospitals and the learning medical institutions in this Nation.

God says, "My whirlwind is being seen over them and there will come a new rule of righteousness in medical study; in experiment into the healing industry in this land. My healing will rule and will reign in those structures!"
And all of those ruling forces over that Obamacare and that insurance structure that's stopping I AM, Jehovah Raphe, from rising up in this land, we say today there's a new breakthrough! You'll begin to see that whirlwind taking out your enemy!

There's a catching up over Kansas; a catching up over Kansas. And the Spirit of God is going to rise out of Kansas and in other places, in DC., and will say what is necessary to be said this hour. We loose revelation, we loose words that produce whirlwinds and we declare they are being re-deposited over the Federal Reserve System. We say let Your whirlwind of words begin to come down and deposit revelation where it should be.

"For I am your spin doctor! I am spinning today over the regions of this earth that need to be corrected. I am blowing away, by My Spirit, those things that have held you captive and I am establishing My Spiritual government over those things that need healing and need release! ...Jump into the grace of this spinning force and go with Me and land at a new place!
"I am bringing a shaking underneath the mountains and I am causing it to fall. I am breaking and shaking underneath those mountains to turn up those things that have been hidden. Those things that need to be exposed, I Am exposing.

"For this is a time that I am beginning to cause My people to come up, and to come up and over; this is a time I'm calling you to come up and over. And those things that have stopped you, those things that have kept you back, I'm shaking them off of you. I'm causing them to shake underneath your feet. I'm causing you to step right through, so you begin to see a vision of what I'm doing, because I'm breaking those old molds off of you.

"I'm breaking those old impressions off of you; I'm removing that old thing you need to shake off. You need to let it go because I'm putting you to the top of the mountain. Some of you are rising, some of you are coming up, some of you are moving into a new realm. There's new dimensions to begin to see, and I'm causing you to see, break open and begin to see through those dimensions. Let Me restore, let Me renew, let Me bring forth a new value in you!"
The Next 10 Days Are Critical!
"Over the next 10 days I will call you to a certain night watch that will uncover that which has kept you from taking ground in past seasons. When I call you in that one hour, stand before Me, sit before Me, lay before Me and watch Me give you strategies that will uncover ground that has been held back and release supply that could not be released."

I see the Lord lifting depression, that thing which has held you down during this season. Instead of saying, "I despise this time of season," He is saying, "Like Mary, let it be unto Me, because the angel of the living God will come and He will overshadow you." And even now as this word is being released He's overshadowing you and the depression is breaking and you'll no longer be depressed but you'll be exalted by the very Presence of the living God!

We ask for an overshadowing of Your glory realm that breaks oppression, depression, and how we have been laid out and suffered in the last season.
