Mychal Massie Tells It Like It Is--As Usual

Political Correctness and Islam

We live in a day and time when the truth is not tolerated. Half-truths and situational explanations are accepted but they are by definition lies; and yet they are embraced and expounded as if they were revelations given by secular metaphysicians of unparalleled understanding. And there is no greater example of same than “political correctness”.
Political correctness, as I wrote many years ago, is at its core an unmitigated lie and the people who engage in same are either liars, fools, or both. And there is no better example of both than the politically correct who are trying to convince us that it’s not Islam that is bad, it’s just a few bad Mohammedans within Islam who are bad. You know, the old “rotten apple” syndrome.
Islam is not a pastoral religion that practices peace, love, and happiness. It is a cult like following that preaches hate, strife, intolerance, and conquest. It preaches that it is okay to deceive and lie to those who are infidels and dogs, i.e., anyone who is not a Muslim. It preaches the strictest form of legalism and demands the most pagan forms of punishments for even perceived violations of their religious dogma.
Yet despite mountains of readily available evidence that is beyond refutation, the politically correct deny the obvious and choose instead to attack those such as myself who are warning America that Islam is a threat and its adherents are a threat to us.
From its beginning, history is is replete with testimony to the dirge that is Islam. But revisionists and the politically correct refuse to present the accurate depiction of Islam. Instead, they counter the truth with references such as “all religions have a history of violence” or they say idiotic things such as “Christians are just as bad,” blah-blah-blah. They curse and call persons such as myself names that aren’t found in the lexicons of drunken sailors because we are willing to say the truth.
Alton Nolen wasn’t preaching extremism, violence, and beheadings until he changed his name to Jah’Keem Yisrael and converted to Islam. Americans who are converting to Islam aren’t going about preaching religious hatred and death in the name of allah until they convert to Islam. Muslims, however, are inculcated with legalistic hatred and contempt as a culture. But the media and those steeped in political correctness refuse even to acknowledge that Yisrael in fact committed the beheadings. They choose to instead use his birth name of Nolen, juxtaposed to his Muslim name Yisrael, and reference him as the person “accused of beheading of a woman.”
I understand language and the proper utilization of same far better than most people, my peers included. I reject the idea of his being referred to as the “accused” which inherently carries with it the presumption of innocence. There is no presumption of his innocence. He beheaded a woman and was in the process of beheading another woman when he was shot.
The politically correct refused to even call it an act of terrorism, choosing instead to call the violent, religiously motivated beheadings an instance of “workplace violence,” thus attempting to reduce it to the level of an act perpetrated by a disgruntled employee who kills their boss. The difference is that an act of workplace violence is born out of anger; Yisrael’s actions were born out of his allegiance to Islam and allah.
No religious group is any more cloistered than the Amish, but in the rare instances when one of their adherents reject their religious tenets and marry a Catholic or Pentecostal, that person is shunned and disavowed from membership on every quantifiable level, but they aren’t hunted down and murdered. Such is not the case within Islam. Mennonites and Baptists are not preaching hatred and teaching that it is permissible to deceive, cheat, and kill those not practicing their faith and/or converting to other faiths. However the same cannot be said about Islam.
I warned in 2001 that beheadings were going to become commonplace on our soil. The same politically correct people who are attacking me today (along with their present day minions) called me vulgar names, and some going so far as to threaten me with physical harm. But I’ve been vindicated.
In 2002 John Lee Malvo and John Allen Muhammad became known as the “Beltway Snipers,” and ultimately held three states (Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C.) hostage with fear as they took turns hiding in the trunk of their Oldsmobile randomly shooting and killing people. In all, they murdered 16 people in ten states and wounded nine.
The politically correct are deranged to the point of even savaging someone as versed in Islam as Brigitte Gabriel, as well as those who have converted out of Islam and who are warning America of the danger Islam presents.
People forget and/or chose to justify the anger and antipathy that Muhammed Ali preached and fomented against whites when he declared himself a minister of allah and refused to be inducted into military service. I do not support the government in attempting to deprive him of his right to make a living during his court case, but I unapologetically condemn the malcontent and animus he preached in the name of allah.
Perhaps it is instinct for some to believe it is right to extend hands of friendship to those who would harm us, but it isn’t prudent and sure as heck isn’t keeping our families and country safe.

Plexus--Have You Heard Of It?

Last weekend Country Guy & I  ran into our friends, John & Peg, who we hadn't seen for several months, at the Marshall Autumnfest.  They looked great and during our conversation they attributed their new energy to Plexus.  They have been taking it for 4 months.   We've known them for about 10 years.  John was on disability when we met him.  He was taking some kind of infusions monthly plus a really potent one every 6 months for rheumatoid arthritis--I had the impression the infusions were a type of chemo.  Anyway, he said he had been taking Plexus Slim and ProBio5 (I think he mentioned another product also) and all the swelling in his joints is gone.  He had thyroid cancer a few years ago but has been able to cut his thyroid meds in half.  He had part of a lung removed a few years ago, too.  Anyway, he said he is off all the infusions and pain meds he has been taking all these years since we've known him, and feels better than he can remember feeling.  He has also lost 22 lbs.  He said before starting this he could not sleep at night because of the pain and stiffness and would have to get up 5 or 6 times to walk around but now he sleeps through the night.  He was certainly a walking testimony for the stuff!  John & Peg said they took it to his arthritis doctor before beginning, to get his approval.  The doctor said since it is all natural there is nothing in it that can hurt him so to go ahead and take it if he wanted.  They have since also shown it to 2 other doctors who have said the same thing.
Plexus is sold only through pyramid marketing which I have never liked and have always stayed away from, but John's testimony was so amazing we decided to try it--especially since one of the claims is that it regulates blood sugar and cuts down on sugar craving.  (Country Guy's blood sugar has been higher than it should be lately.)   Here is the website if you want to check it out: http://www.plexusworldwide.com/products.
We received our first month's supply on Wednesday so we haven't been on it long enough to know  how it's working although Kent's blood sugar was down 20 points yesterday and he says he feels better.  One of the reasons for that, though, is he has not been eating as much sugar. :o)  There are many testimonies on the website and online of how Plexus has helped with fibromyalgia, arthritis, diabetes, and many more diseases.
You have to sign in with an "ambassador's number" if you want to look at prices, so here is mine 322313, if you want to use it.  We decided it was much more economical for us to sign up since we are planning to at least try it for the 2 month trial period.  It costs $34.95 to become an ambassador but you save $15 on each month's supply of Plexus and various amounts on their other products.  If you decide to try it, I would recommend signing up as an ambassador yourself--you don't have to sell it--but you get the reduced prices.  If you decide to, you still will need an ambassador number to get to that page.
You may have already heard of this, or are not interested, but I thought it would be better to let you know than to not do it and wonder if I should have.  If it lives up to its reputation I'm sure I will want everyone to know about it so we can all be in better health.

Harry & Bess

Wouldn't it be great if our politicians would take a lesson from this former President?  I doubt our government would be in the mess they're in if they had.

Harry Truman was a different kind of President. He probably made as many, or more important decisions regarding our nation's history as any of the other 32 Presidents preceding him. However, a measure of his greatness may rest on what he did after he left the White House.
[]       The only asset he had when he died was the house he lived in, which was in Independence , Missouri . His wife had inherited the house from her mother and father and other than their years in the White House, they lived their entire lives there.
[]
When he retired from office in 1952 his income was a U.S. Army pension reported to have been $13,507.72 a year. Congress, noting that he was paying for his stamps and personally licking them, granted him an 'allowance' and later, a retroactive pension of $25,000 per year.
After President Eisenhower was inaugurated, Harry and Bess drove home to Missouri by themselves. There was no Secret Service following them.
When offered corporate positions at large salaries, he declined, stating, "You don't want me. You want the office of the President, and that doesn't belong to me.. It belongs to the American people and it's not for sale."
Even later, on May 6, 1971, when Congress was preparing to award him the Medal of Honor on his 87th birthday, he refused to accept it, writing, "I don't consider that I have done anything which should be the reason for any award, Congressional or otherwise."
As president he paid for all of his own travel expenses and food.
Modern politicians have found a new level of success in cashing in on the Presidency, resulting in untold wealth. Today, too many in Congress also have found a way to become quite wealthy while enjoying the fruits of their offices. Political offices are now for sale (ie. Illinois ).
Good old Harry Truman was correct when he observed, "My choices in life were either to be a piano player in a whore house or a politician. And to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference!
We ought to have cloned him for telling it like it is and being frugal with our tax dollars!

We watched this wonderful documentary on Dennis Jernigan's life this evening.  (I took a screen shot of the home page of the website.)  "Sing Over Me" is available to watch online free through September 30.  The promo says the DVD comes out on Oct. 1 so it can be purchased after that.  Here is the link:  http://www.singovermemovie.com/#!watch/c22pg if you would like to watch it in the next 4 days.

I highly recommend the movie to everyone!  Country Guy & I agreed it is one of the best we have seen.  If you know anyone who is struggling with homosexuality--some gay people say they are happy with their sexuality so it may not be for them--but those who are not will be so encouraged by this hope-filled, inspiring movie.  As will everyone who watches it.  What a testimony to the greatness of God!

America's Soldiers Singing "Days of Elijah"

My friend Joyce, also sent a link to these American soldiers totally participating in worship as they sing "The Days Of Elijah."  They believe the words--there IS no god like Jehovah!

Romans 4:18

Romans 4:18 The Message Translation says:   "When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn’t do but on what God said he would do."

I'm filling my heart with God's promises because I want this to be said of me, too, don't you?

America Poised For Collapse by Mychal Massie

I totally agree with Mychal Massie.  As he writes in his column yesterday, America is poised for collapse.  Americans have lost their way.  We, as a country, have forgotten God and instead are looking to politicians to save us.   Deuteronomy 8:6-19 tells us what God says about that.  He gave us the land and the prosperity we now enjoy.  He warns us of what happens if we forget Him who gives us all things:

6 "Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills; a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.
10 When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you. 11 Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day. 12 Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down, 13 and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, 14 then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 15 He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock. 16 He gave you manna to eat in the wilderness, something your ancestors had never known, to humble and testyou so that in the end it might go well with you. 17 You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.
19 If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. 20 Like the nations the Lord destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the Lord your God."
This certainly describes America today. We have forgotten God.  We have become proud, thinking we have built this country into a great nation all by ourselves and that we can take care of it on our own.  If we do not repent and return to the God who made us great, we will fall as the nations who rejected Him fell before us.  We have become a great nation because of His protection and guidance.  If we no longer seek it He will withdraw and we will see that without Him we can do nothing to save ourselves.  I pray we will see that before it is too late and return to Him with our whole hearts.

America Poised For Collapse

America stands on the very brink of collapse and I believe the indications are such that if she doesn’t collapse in my lifetime, she will in my son’s. If that scares you, it should. America is in trouble such as she has never experienced in her history and it is trouble of our own making.
I could lie to you and subscribe to falsities such as if we get rid of Obama and replace him with a “you fill in the blank” or if the Republicans gain the majority in the Senate or if blah-blah-blah. But assuming all of those things were to happen, I remain unconvinced that they would make one bit of difference.
America has lost her way and accordingly, America has lost the worldwide respect she once commanded. And no group is more aware of this than the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Our Founding Fathers had a reliance upon God that they neither apologized nor retreated from. Whether we read John Adams, George Washington, or the collective works of those who fought for our independence, one cannot deny that they had a dependence upon God.
But today, the “faith of our fathers” is just that – the faith of our fathers. America has turned from “In God We Trust” to trust in evil men. And as my close friend and colleague Dr. James David Manning put it, “America no longer fears God, so therefore nations no longer fear America?
ISIS and the other Muslim threats are rabid followers of a false prophet (Mohammed) and a false god (Allah),but they are zealots in their service to their pagan beliefs. They view America in light of what she supports, and let there be not one doubt that these pagans understand the homologation of same-sex marriage, sodomy, the wholesale slaughter of 54 million unborn children, abortion, weak politically-correct officials, ad nauseum are not the qualities of the enlightened, they are the traits of the damned.
There was a time that America prided herself on a belief in God. There was a time our government acted in accordance with the summum bonum of the people she was created to serve. Today, such beliefs are scoffed at. There was a time that when America went to war, the oppressed and threatened in the world sighed a breath of relief because they knew the God of America would vindicate them. Ask the French, Great Britain, or the other European countries to whose aid America came.
But today the media controls our battles, not the generals. Weak ineffectual leaders like Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Obama have shown our Islamic enemies that America talks but doesn’t act. Globalists like George W. Bush have shown the enemy that America’s borders are nothing more than lines on paper. And they openly cheer our downfall as corrupt politicians like George W. Bush, John Boehner, et al. are eagerly willing to reward illegals with full rights and citizenship. Which means whether by outright attacks or attrition, they are positioned to do untold harm to America.
America is similar to a skeletal structure waiting for a strong wind to cause it to fall and that strong wind may well be ISIS and/or some other vulgar derivation of their genus. If (or probably more likely when) ISIS decides to make good on their promise to plant their flags on American soil, what will our so-called leadership do? Look back on the World Trade Centers and Pentagon attacks of 9/11 and consider how quickly America went from waving flags to cursing and blaming and posturing for political gain. Consider how the media undermined the effort than and how they ignore the threat today.
The Second Book of Chronicles 7:14 provides the prescription needed for America to return to a healthy state, but I am confident that just as people will scoff at this piece they will certainly scoff at that. “The fool has said in his heart that there is no God” and even for those who feign to pretend there is a God in heaven, their actions are in accordance with the unbelievers.

Lessons Learned While Growing Pumpkins

Our 6 & 8 year old grandsons, along with their parents, have been growing pumpkins & gourds to sell this year.  The boys do as much of the work as they are capable of and in return split the profits.  I am impressed by the lessons imparted through this process.  Their parents require them to give 10 percent of the profits to the church, put 10 per cent in savings, pay their Dad for his expenses in buying seed and gas for the tractor & tiller, and set aside money to purchase seed and fertilizer for next year's crop.  After these requirements are met they are allowed to spend the rest of the profit.  The boys do most of the weeding of the pumpkin patch throughout the summer and then harvest the pumpkins and gourds and wash each one to prepare them for sale.  When harvest is complete they set up a stand in their small town 2 or 3 days after school to sell their produce.  Gage, our 6 year old, bought a camera and Gavin, our 8 year old, bought a music-only iPod with some of their profit.
This is the last of their harvest
This year they had a 'bumper crop' with lots of variety. They are planning another sale day on Thursday so Gage took this photo with his new camera for their promotional ad on their Mom's Facebook page.  He thought the black cat in the front of the pumpkins (one of his new kittens) would add to the 'Halloween effect' of the photo.  I am impressed with his composition and foresight!  I am also impressed by the variety and types of gourds available and have asked them to save a couple for me.  Hopefully they will bring them along when they come for a visit next month.

Our daughter said that when they were washing the pumpkins, Gage exclaimed, "I didn't know working could be so much fun!"  It sounds as if many lessons are being learned in this endeavor!
Kudos to the parents for taking the time to teach them in such a beneficial way!

Another Excellent Column from The Daily Rant by Stephen Nash

A relationship with God through prayer is the answer! When will we turn to God with our whole hearts?  When will we 'rend the heavens' till He answers?  As the Bible says, "Let us not become weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."

The Heart of the Problem Is…

Gallup reports: “The biggest problem the United States faces is not unemployment or the economy — it’s the country’s government, according to a plurality of Americans cited in a recent Gallup poll. Among Republicans, Democrats and independents, dissatisfaction with the U.S.’s political leadership topped all other issues. The open-ended question they answered in the monthly poll of American attitudes was, ‘What do you think is the most important problem facing this country today?’
Gallup says that 21 percent of all respondents’ answers fell into a category titled Dissatisfaction with government/Congress/politicians; Poor leadership/Corruption/Abuse of power. That topic was followed by the economy, with 18 percent overall. The poll found a tie at 16 percent, between unemployment and health care.”
I understand what the people of America are saying, but I would have to disagree with the majority. Pres. Reagan was correct when he said, “Government is the problem,” but, if pressed, I believe he would have to qualify that answer. No, the problem is deeper than the inability, corruption and abuse of power in federal or state governments.
Let me go so far as to say that radical Islam would not be a threat and could not advance if we would address the deep rooted heart of the problem. If any of my readers possess a biblical world view, you would have to agree that the heart of the problem is the heart. Isaiah was called by God to address this same question in the first chapter of his prophetic book. Isaiah 1:4-7 reads:
“Woe to the sinful nation,
a people whose guilt is great,
a brood of evildoers,
children given to corruption!
They have forsaken the LORD;
they have spurned the Holy One of Israel
and turned their backs on Him.
5 Why should you be beaten anymore?
Why do you persist in rebellion?
Your whole head is injured,
your whole heart afflicted.
6 From the sole of your foot to the top of your head
there is no soundness—
only wounds and welts
and open sores.
7 Your country is desolate,
your cities burned with fire;
your fields are being stripped by foreigners
right before you, laid waste as when overthrown by strangers (illegal aliens).”
We are running ragged attending one meeting after another to hear from people who are like-minded. We spend hours watching FOX News or reading the Drudge Report to keep up with the latest bad news out of Washington or some other hot spot in the world. We attend rallies, conferences or town meetings to voice our concerns about our declining country. These are not bad activities that take a good deal of our time, but how much time do we spend getting on our faces and crying out to a living God who is able to do a whole lot more than we can.
I believe Christians should be politically savvy. I believe we should voice our opinion in the public square, and I believe we should huddle with people who are like-minded, but it must not end there. If that’s all we spend our extra time on, we will become angry, disillusioned, negative complainers. The Lord goes on to say in Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord…” He wants our attention!
I have a suggestion. For those of you (including myself) who have become news junkies; why not turn the headlines into a prayer list? Let us become the great intercessors of God on behalf of the hurting world; on behalf of the leaders of our nation; on behalf of the dangerous world we are reading about. Have we prayed for the families of the three innocent victims who have been beheaded in Syria? Have we prayed that God would give wisdom to our own president and the Prime Minister of Great Britain so that they would make the right decisions on how to deal with ISIS?
Evil will abound when good people do nothing, but what can we, as individuals, do with an evil like ISIS? We can pray!
The enemy of our soul is lurking in the background and he would love to divert us from praying for God’s intervention. The Jews were complaining for 400 years while they were unfairly treated in Egypt as slaves of Pharaoh. It wasn’t until they cried out to God that He called up Moses in the desert. When God’s people cry out to Him, it seems that our Lord comes to the rescue as a loving Father who so much wants to deliver us from evil. Without a doubt, the heart of the problem is the heart, and we must get that heart examined today!

'HARBINGER' AUTHOR SAYS LOSS OF 'TREE OF HOPE' A WARNING

A cross formed from the Sept. 11 wreckage at Ground Zero in New York City
“Harbinger” author Jonathan Cahn says it’s because of his book that the tree will not be replaced.A tree that was placed at the site of the 9/11 Muslim terror attack in New York City has died, has been removed, and destroyed.
His work examines the nine harbingers, or warnings, recorded in the Bible that were delivered to Israel before the nation disintegrated. He contends God is giving the same nine warnings now to America to urge the nation to repent.
One of the harbingers was a sycamore tree at Ground Zero, which after the destruction of the Twin Towers was replaced by an evergreen, a move Cahn believes follows the Isaiah prophecy.
Now the replacement tree is gone, he said.
“The ancient sign of nearing national judgment has been manifested. The erez tree has fallen. The seventh harbinger now speaks of impending judgment. The Tree of Hope, the symbol of America’s resurgence … is dead,” he explained.
“The keepers of the Tree of Hope did everything they could to save the withering tree. They even changed the soil in which it grew. But no matter what they did, the tree continued to wither away and die,” said Cahn.
“Finally, in the spring of this year, the tree planted in the place of the fallen sycamore of Ground Zero, the symbol of a rising America, was uprooted. … The seventh harbinger is no more.”
He had written in his book a prophetic word concerning America’s Erez Tree, the Tree of Hope, saying, “…but when a nation such as this places its hope in its own powers to save itself, then its hope is false. Its true hope is found only in returning to God. Without that, the Tree of Hope is a harbinger of the day when its strong cedars come crashing down to the earth.”
Only recently did Cahn discover that “The Harbinger’s” prophecy has come true. The news came to him from those who had recently walked the grounds of St. Paul’s Chapel in New York City at the corner of Ground Zero where the erez tree had been planted in place of the fallen sycamore.
Unlike the planting of the Tree of Hope, which was done publicly and followed by a publicized ceremony, the tree was uprooted with little notice given, out of the public eye. In fact it was only after several inquiries were made as to the trees disappearance, that WND found out what happened. The Tree of Hope, the symbol of a resurgent America, was uprooted in the spring of this year. The day after its uprooting, it was entirely destroyed.
“In the Bible,” said Cahn, “the felling of the cedar, or the destruction of the erez tree, is a particularly stark sign given to a nation nearing the day of its judgment. It is one of several continuing manifestations of what appears in ‘The Harbinger’ – coming true after the book’s release. What these continuing signs signify is that America’s progression to judgment is continuing – if not accelerating. Combine this with the fact that America in indeed continuing on a rapidly accelerating course of apostasy from God and moral collapse – and it comprises an ominous warning: America is approaching a day of judgment.”
He said his source regarding the destruction of the tree also told him there would not be another tree planted because of “The Harbinger.” He said that because of the book, people have been coming from all over the United States to see the tree.
WND reported earlier on the Old Testament prophecy, the tree that was struck down and the replacement tree in New York. The roots of the sycamore tree were preserved as a memorial.

“The Harbinger,” which is described as a wake-up call for Americans, deciphers the stunning connections between the cryptic biblical prophecy and current events.
Isaiah 9:10 states, “The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.” (King James Version)
The words were first uttered by leaders in ancient Israel in response to a limited strike by Assyria on the lands of Zebulun and Naphtali. The prophet makes clear it was a limited judgment by God against apostasy. The purpose was not to destroy the nation, but to awaken it, according to most commentaries.
The northern kingdom of Israel did not repent of its rebellion against God’s commandments and was eventually conquered and removed from its land by the ancient Assyrians. Eventually, the southern kingdom of Judah also was overcome by the Babylonians after the Jews refused to repent as well.
Cahn, the pastor of the Jerusalem Center-Beth Israel Congregation in Wayne, New Jersey, claims the prophecy’s statement the “bricks are fallen down” refers to the crumbling of the World Trade Center. The verse, he says, connotes an attitude of defiance, a desire to rebuild with stronger materials instead of acknowledging the hand of God and moving toward national repentance.
The verse mentions sycamore and cedar trees, and it’s here that things start to get eerie.
“After the cloud of dust began to clear, police officers, rescue workers and onlookers gazed at the little plot of land at the edge of Ground Zero,” Cahn writes in “The Harbinger.”
“There in the middle of the ash and debris that covered the ground was a fallen tree. It would soon become a symbol of 9/11 and of Ground Zero. And it was a symbol … but one much more ancient than anyone there could have realized and one carrying a message no one could have fathomed.”
“The tree at Ground Zero that was struck down on September 11 was a sycamore tree.”
'Cedar' that replaced Sycamore at Ground Zero site
‘Cedar’ that replaced Sycamore at Ground Zero site
Not only was a sycamore tree struck on 9/11, but it was replaced in the exact same location by another tree of the type mentioned in the original Hebrew, an “erez” tree, which is the same genus as the cedar.
“The most natural thing to have done would have been to replace one sycamore with another,” Cahn writes. “But the prophecy required that the fallen sycamore be replaced with a tree of an entirely different nature. So the tree that replaced the sycamore of Ground Zero was likewise not a sycamore. According to the prophecy, the sycamore must be replaced by the biblical erez. So it must be replaced by a conifer tree.”
And that’s what took place in 2003, as a conifer tree, the “Tree of Hope” as it was called, was planted in the spot where the sycamore was slammed on 9/11.
But Cahn now is warning that America is advancing down the path that Israel followed to destruction.
“One of the signs given in the Bible of national judgment is that of a tree withering away,” he explained, quoting Ezekiel 17:10, “Behold, being planted, shall it prosper? Shall it not utterly wither away.”
And he said Jeremiah 11:16 also talks about it: “He has kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.”

Cahn said the “breaking off of branches speaks of a nation whose glory and powers are to be removed.”
“If one went down to Ground Zero in the past few years, one would find the Tree of Hope withering away and its branches cut off,” he said. “But perhaps the strongest warning of judgment involving a tree is that of the destruction of the cedar tree.”
Isaiah 2:12-13 states: “For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every thing that is high and lifted up … upon all the cedars of Lebanon.” And Zechariah 11:2 states, “For the cedar (erez tree) is fallen, as the mighty are spoiled.”
The loss of the tree “is another ominous sign concerning America,” said Cahn, because it appears to be following a known path.
“Before God judges a nation, He sends warning,” explain Cahn. “He sent warning to ancient Israel. He even allowed its enemies to breach its borders in a devastating strike that would traumatize the nation. It was a wake-up call, the call to return to God. But the nation responded with defiance. God then gave nine harbingers of judgment, nine prophetic signs, alarms and foreshadows of what was to come. Now America is the nation in rapid departure from God’s will. And God likewise allowed an enemy to breach its borders in a devastating strike – the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. It was, likewise, a wake-up call. But America, like Israel, has not responded with repentance, but with defiance. And now the nine harbingers of judgment have reappeared and have done so on American soil.”
Cahn says America is uncannily re-enacting ancient Israel’s behavior prior to its judgment and eventual fall.
He found a sympathetic ear for his message in WND founder Farah, who produced “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment,” as a follow-up to “The Harbinger.”
