An Encouraging Word from Bobby Conner posted on The Elijah List Today

"God Has Empowered You: No One Can Accomplish What You Have Been Commissioned to Do!"Bobby Conner, Bullard, TX

You were chosen by Almighty God in eternity past, to live in the present, to forge the future (see Ephesians 2:10). You have divine destiny. No one on earth can accomplish what you have been commissioned to do!

Sound asleep, I was awakened by an exceptionally pleasant voice speaking in my room. The message was articulated with extreme clarity. Upon hearing the words, immense comfort and courage immediately flooded my heart. This word was audible; it was not something I heard in my head or heart—I heard it with my ears.

You Have a Divinely Created Purpose
However, let me be straightforward: I did not see who spoke to me, because when I looked in the direction of the voice, I was suddenly blinded by a bright flash of LIGHT. It was almost as if a strong flash from a camera blinded my eyes. Yet, He continued to speak, saying, "Tell My people they have purpose—they have been chosen by ME for ME."

Upon hearing this declaration, I was immediately overwhelmed with joy and excitement. Never allow the devil to discourage you again; you have divine purpose! You are divinely prepared to accomplish the task God has assigned you. You can do something no other human being can do.

Meditate and ponder this message; believe that you have been chosen by Christ, for Christ, and your life will take on even greater zeal and purpose. Jesus said:
"You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you." (John 15:16)
You Are Chosen By Christ!
Your confidence and courage will soar, as you understand in greater capacity the depth of these words, "YOU ARE CHOSEN BY CHRIST!"Let these words wash over your soul—they are like refreshing water to the thirsty. You have been chosen by Christ, for Christ; the choice was made before the foundation of the world (see Ephesians 1:4). Knowing this promise, will release you from rejection and depression.

The goal is to finish the course and to be able to say with all confidence, "I've kept the faith and stayed on course accomplishing the task set before me" (2 Timothy 4:7). It is to that individual Christ will say, "Well done, good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:21). God gives us His power for purpose; the gifts are tools not toys and anointing is for action (see Acts 1:8).

God releases His anointing on His children for one main purpose: to impact the nations by bringing the hurting and lost to Himself.

Release of the Spirit of Evangelism
Recently, while ministering in a large arena, I saw what appeared to be a silver flowing river above the heads of the people. This beautiful river flowed for a short moment then disappeared. I questioned, "Lord, what is that?" He quickly replied, "I am releasing a spirit of evangelism upon earth." So I simply stated, "God is releasing a spirit of evangelism!"

The moment these words came from my mouth, nine people jumped to their feet, ran forward, fell on their knees repenting and gave their lives to Christ Jesus, receiving Him as their personal Savior. There was no one giving an altar call; it was just a burst of the Holy Spirit.

We are being summoned to the harvest field. God would have all men to be saved and come to know Christ Jesus as both Savior and Lord (see 1 Timothy 2:4). The Lord spoke an incredibly encouraging word saying, "My people are becoming power hungry for all the right reasons!"

The first step in becoming anointed for action is a deep driving hunger to see change; you must become fed up with business as usual in the Church. This is a season of sensitivity. You will find the Lord in a much deeper intimate way if you seek HIM (see Jeremiah 29:12-13).

The Lord has been fanning the flame of discontentment within the hearts of His people. He is creating an insatiable hunger to see the power of God revealed so that we would not settle for less than what He desires to give us (see Psalm 90:16-17). The discontentment is driving us to seek the Lord and to search for His answers to life's problems (see Psalm 42:1-2).
The Spirit of Truth is Preparing You for Spiritual Promotion!

You have a divine destiny. You are to be a powerful conduit for change. You are anointed to be a history maker and one that will be a changer of our culture. Make up your mind that you are going to make a difference. Be like Daniel, commit your whole heart to God, and decide to live pure and clean even in the midst of sin and shame around you (see Daniel 1:8).

Shifting Atmospheres

Today I was meditating on Luke 19:11-27 (NIV)

The Parable of the Ten Minas

11 While they were listening to this, he went on to tell them a parable, because he was near Jerusalem and the people thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear at once.12 He said: “A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return. 13 So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas.[a] ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’
14 “But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be our king.’
15 “He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it.
16 “The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.’
17 “‘Well done, my good servant!’ his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.’
18 “The second came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned five more.’
19 “His master answered, ‘You take charge of five cities.’
20 “Then another servant came and said, ‘Sir, here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth. 21 I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You take out what you did not put in and reap what you did not sow.’
22 “His master replied, ‘I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant! You knew, did you, that I am a hard man, taking out what I did not put in, and reaping what I did not sow? 23 Why then didn’t you put my money on deposit, so that when I came back, I could have collected it with interest?’
24 “Then he said to those standing by, ‘Take his mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.’
25 “‘Sir,’ they said, ‘he already has ten!’
26 “He replied, ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what they have will be taken away. 27 But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.’”

Footnotes:

  1. Luke 19:13 A mina was about three months’ wages.

It seemed to me the Lord was saying that He will be returning one day.  In the meantime He has given me (us) minas (talents) to invest.   I believe He was showing me that in many ways I have been the person who received a mina (Holy Spirit) and wrapped it in a cloth to preserve it.  I have spent much time attending church and conferences, and studying, praying, and seeking the Lord wrapped in my prayer closet, but often have not consciously worked to invest the resources the Lord has been giving me in the lives of His hurting children.
As I was pondering this I had the strangest sensation that the ground was shifting. (I have read several prophets who have said the spiritual atmosphere is shifting, but I have never experienced anything physically before.)  I decided to claim this as a sign that things have shifted spiritually in my life.  I came upstairs to check my email and found that Brian Simmon's prophetic devotional today (You can subscribe to his free email devotional by following the link) was surely sent just for me. . .

I HEAR HIS WHISPER...
"My Healing One"

I will use you from now on to bring healing and restoration to many, especially your family. You will see me move into the impossibilities of your limitations. Everything will be changed through the presence of My Spirit flowing through you. Wounded hearts will learn to rise through the words you speak and the love you release.

You are now prepared in every way to bless and heal. Do not look back, for history has not shaped you, I have. The dawning has come and a new revelation has burned its way into every fabric of your life. Today I set you apart as my healing one. Bring into your family a greater love and I will bring a greater healing. I am the God who heals hearts and bodies and I will not fail you.

Psalm 103:8 The Passion Translation

Lord, you’re so kind and tenderhearted to those who don’t deserve it and so very patient with people who fail you. Your love is like a flooding river overflowing its banks with kindness.

Follow Your Hunger by Francis Frangipane

The Ministries of Francis Frangipane

Follow Your Hunger
(En EspaƱol)

Today too many Christians have lost their hunger for God. Instead of coming into the Lord's presence hungry for more of His fullness, our thoughts are held hostage to worldly pursuits and fleshly distractions. At best, we are merely curious about spiritual realities, but not truly hungry.

Let me tell you a story that illustrates what I mean. We had a little dog named Sophie. Sophie loved people food. To her, eating people food was the culinary equivalent of entering the Kingdom of God. She loved our food. She even had a Bible verse that she claimed in faith: "Even the dogs feed on the crumbs" (Matt. 15:27).

When my wife and I shared a meal, Sophie would sit at our feet, squint her eyes, and stare at us (she thought squinting made her cuter). Any food that fell to the floor instantly vanished into her mouth. No matter how much of her food she had already eaten, she was always hungry for ours.

Our home had a small, fenced-in yard outside our porch where Sophie played. Although the fence surrounded the area, there were gaps where the pickets didn't quite reach to the ground. If Sophie wanted, she actually could squeeze under the fence and get out, but she normally had no reason to try. Occasionally she would get curious and go as far as the gate and stand there a while and look out, but she didn't leave the yard.

One day, though, my wife decided to feed a few slices of stale bread to the birds that nested on the other side of the fence. When Sophie went out an hour later, she immediately noticed a human food smell in the air, which she tracked to the bread. In less than a heartbeat she found a little gap under the picket fence, flattened herself to the ground, and then shimmied through the fence to the bread on the other side. It was gone in less than a minute.

My point is this: hunger will take you where mere curiosity would never go.

My friend, God is looking for hungry people. Blessed are they who hunger. He is seeking people who are truly seeking Him. Indeed, He has bread from Heaven for us, and it is eternally satisfying. We cannot afford to settle into the routine of a fenced-in reality, not when God has eternal food prepared for us. Let us, therefore, follow our hunger as we pursue the presence of God.

"Raging Storm at Sea and Amazing Ministries Who PREVAIL! - A Word for 2017" By Bonnie Jones,

I am witnessing the last part of this message with my own eyes!  So encouraging!

"Raging Storm at Sea and Amazing Ministries Who PREVAIL! - A Word for 2017"By Bonnie Jones, Pineville, NC

The Day of Atonement this year brought a lot of revelation. The Lord shared many things with me that are dear to His heart. Such as, the tears of the weeping widows and how He's answering their prayer. He showed me the anointing of Samuel falling on the Body of Christ and the release of the Elisha anointed ministries.

I also saw God drawing a line in the sand separating sheep and goats. And people who were literally being hung by their own tongue. It was an interesting mix of revelation this year. I'd like to share one revelation I found of great significance especially for the season that is upon us in the Body of Christ.

The Raging Sea
In a trance, I saw a violent raging storm and sea and ships were being tossed to and fro. Holy Spirit reminded me of Mark 4:35-41 after the account of Jesus explaining the parable of the sower and the seed. Afterwards He said to His disciples, "Let us cross over to the other side." And other little boats went with Him. While Jesus was asleep in the stern of the boat a fierce windstorm began to blow and the waves were breaking over the boat causing it to fill with water.

Frightened and alarmed, the disciples awakened Him. They were fearful of their demise. But I think they got the surprise of their lives when He arose and rebuked the fierce wind. Then He spoke to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
"On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, 'Let us cross over to the other side.' Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, 'Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?
"Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, 'Peace, be still!' And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, 'Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?' And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, 'Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!'"
Peace, Be Still!
I've heard this message many times and it's always exciting to me. The Lord rebukes the wind and it obeys Him, then He speaks peace to the sea and immediately it becomes calm. What a deal. And to think we have the same authority! All these things are awesome but somehow I think we miss an important point.

The Lord tells the disciples that they are going to cross over to the other side. But He also gives an invitation for others to join Him and they do. Other little boats set sail alongside His larger boat but we never hear about them again. What happened to them? Did they get swept away in the raging storm? Did they survive the fierce winds and pounding waves?

Although we don't have a scriptural answer to this, here is what I believe the Lord is showing me. All ministries have been given equal opportunity to, "Follow Me." And in faith they began to cross the calm water of the Holy Spirit. However, when things got tough and it began to storm those of little faith turned back to shore. It was easier to return to past failures than go beyond the veil to see what the Holy Spirit had awaiting them. They gave up hope and turned back to their safety zone.

Other ministries continued to weather the storm by following Him. Yet when the winds of adversity intensified and the storm raged on, fear entered into their heart. So they took their eyes off Jesus. Miracles, signs and wonders were once a part of these ministries but then the religious spirit crept in. Others were fearful of losing their congregation and denied the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately their boats filled with water and capsized.

Still there were a few little boats that held on by faith refusing to take their eyes off Jesus. Despite their hardships, they pressed into the Cross, trusting the Lord. They put their face to the wind and weathered everything the sea of restless humanity threw at them. When the religious spirit arose they overcame it by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11). They were not defeated but victorious in Christ. Not only have these ministries witnessed the miracle at sea, now they shall behold the greater works as they reach the other side.

Release and Freedom for the Demon Oppressed
And what could be greater than this miracle at sea? If you read Mark chapter five, the demoniac greets Jesus as soon as He arrived on the other side. And this is where the faithful Body of Christ is going – to the other side. There are a lot of dazed, confused and mislead people out there who need deliverance. Only the Body of Christ has the antidote, and His name is Jesus!

Jesus didn't waste time. He cast a legion (1000 demons) out of the demoniac and at once he had his right mind. Then Jesus clothed him in His righteousness and released him into his own ministry. The demoniac was exceedingly grateful and wanted to follow the Lord. But Jesus sent him on his way to evangelize the ten cities of the Decapolis.
"Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes. And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains, because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones. When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him." (Mark 5:1-6 NKJV)
Get ready to witness faithful ministries emerge on the scene, full of power and might. They have weathered the storms of adversity and have no fear of the enemy. They have chosen to, "Follow Me" and reached the other side. They will speak to the wind and it shall obey them because they are led by the wind of the Holy Spirit. They shall become peacemakers to the restless sea of humanity and complete the work of the great commission.
"And as you go, preach, saying, 'The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give" (Matthew 10:7-8 NKJV). (To Subscribe to the Elijah List go here.)

Mike Pence Is A Class Act!!

After being booed and lectured by the cast of "Hamilton" when he attended, this was Mike Pence's response:

"'Hamilton' is just an incredible production, incredibly talented people. And it was a real joy to be there. You know, when we arrived, we heard — we heard a few boos, we heard some cheers. And I nudged my kids and reminded them that's what freedom sounds like." —Mike Pence

The Rest of My Trees

The artificial tree on the plant shelf over the entry
The lower level fireplace and trees
The basement tree (artificial) from a different angle

The larger cedar tree and small artificial one on the screened porch
The cedar trees on the front porch.

I am excited

I have my house decorated for Christmas!  I know it's early but circumstances contrived to get me to do it now.  Dragging out all those Christmas decorations is one thing I don't enjoy doing because everything is in such a mess until the decorating is completed, but I love it when it is finished!  Everything looks so beautiful!  We have the biggest tree we have ever had!  The tree farm called the other day to ask if I wanted a larger one this year (since I always buy their largest) because they were working with a tree farm in Wisconsin and could get 15-16 foot trees.  I told him if he could get it here before Thanksgiving--since our daughter and family would be here then and not Christmas--I wanted one.  He called last week to say the tree was in so we picked it up on Sunday.  I have spent much of the week decorating the tree(s) and house.  On Sunday, we also cut 3 small cedar trees in our woods.  I put the two smaller ones in pots on the steps of the front porch and added white lights, and then placed the larger one on the screened porch with colored lights.  We erected our flocked artificial tree in to the lower level and I decorated it in silver.  Maybe I will take photos of the other trees lighted tonight and post them tomorrow.
The lights are a great reminder to focus on Jesus, who is the light of the world.  He said because we are His disciples we are also to be lights to the world.  It feels like a prophetic sign that I have added so many lights this year.  I believe His light is increasing through his children and revival is at hand.
I don't want to ever forget that Jesus is the Reason for this Season.

"Daniel, Joseph, and Mike Pence! The Power of the Second!"

This is a wise and encouraging word from Steve Porter that was posted on the Elijah List today about Mike Pence--and Donald Trump.  If you don't have time to read the whole article be sure to at least read the last paragraph--YOU WILL BE ENCOURAGED!

I heard the Lord say, "Mike Pence will be My Daniel and Joseph in America, for there is power in My second-in-command!"
Donald Trump's landmark victory as the soon-to-be 45th President of the United States shakes the political paradigm as we know it, turning the world on its ear. Lance Wallnau, a refreshing Dallas-based prophetic voice in the business world and the Church, has been prophesying about Donald Trump for over a year in videos and posts all over social media.
God's Chaos Candidate
In a Charisma News article dated October 5, entitled "Why I Believe Donald Trump is the Prophesied President," Lance Wallnau said this: "I heard the Lord say: 'Donald Trump is a wrecking ball to the spirit of political correctness.'"
Wallnau is not alone in his belief; well-known prophets including Dutch Sheets, Chuck Pierce, Kim Clement, Rick Joyner, and Elijah List founder Steve Shultz, as well as many other prophetic voices around the world, felt it was a turning point in history for which Donald Trump was the chosen vessel God would use to change the direction of our nation. (Photo via Wikipedia)
Now here we stand to make no bones about it; Donald Trump is president-elect and will take office on January 20. Until then, our divided country will try to heal and find its way to become one as a nation, amid ongoing protests and rioting. It will take a mighty move of God to bring us together—just one more thing they say can't be done.
Prayer and Prophecy Over the Soon-To-Be President
I found it memorable that Donald Trump was willing to allow Spirit-filled men and women of God to lay hands on him to pray and prophesy. To my knowledge, there were no other presidential candidates, including professing Christians, who would have accepted an invitation to join them for that purpose. President-elect Trump (even if he was unfamiliar to them) was open to the gifts of the Spirit, willing to surround himself with Christian leaders and take a bold stand on key issues that won him favor with God and man.
That brings me to the crux of this article. Behind every great leader, even those with flaws, is a strong support system, a team of key leaders that offers sound wisdom and can clearly hear from God. Working in harmony with the Spirit of God, such leadership is bound to succeed.
A very important part of Trump's success story is the man he chose as his running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, who has boldly but humbly introduced himself as "A Christian, a conservative, and a Republican, in that order." Pence is well-respected in Christian circles for his bold stand for conservative Christian values. In fact, in July, he was in the midst of his own gubernatorial re-election campaign when he dropped out to run alongside Donald Trump. A bold but divine leading indeed!
Daniel's Righteousness and God's Faithfulness
Now let's briefly turn our attention back to Babylon and Daniel the prophet. The account of Daniel the prophet in the Bible opens as he and other younger men of Judah were taken prisoner by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon in approximately 604 B.C. This captivity of the locals of Judah in Babylon lasted for 70 years, as God had predicted through Jeremiah the prophet.
A faithful man of God, Daniel, demonstrated his faith by visibly praying to God even though he knew it could cost him his life. "Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed [that no one could petition any god or man except the king for 30 days], he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days" (Daniel 6:10).
Daniel's testimony landed him in a lion's den, where his enemies were sure he would be quickly overcome and devoured. But God sent the angel of the Lord that, "Shut the lions' mouths" (Daniel 6:22), and Daniel was miraculously saved!
As a result of his bold stand, Daniel was chosen. He was given honor by the king to serve in prominent positions not only under Nebuchadnezzar, but also under Kings Belshazzar, Darius, and Cyrus. Because of Daniel's knowledge, skill and godly wisdom he found favor in the eyes of God and men.
"Then the king promoted Daniel and gave him many great gifts; and he made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief administrator over all the wise men of Babylon." (Daniel 2:48)
And if we believe that, as Scripture says, God never changes, He will still honor integrity, obedience, and faithfulness, in our generation as well. Our loving obedience to Him will also result in favor and blessings.
Men Found Faithful Through Trial and Tribulation
We also see this happen in the life of Joseph; slave traders took him to Egypt and sold him to Potiphar, one of the Pharaoh's officers. Over time, Joseph served his master well and gained great favor. But the master's wife tried to entice Joseph, a young man of steadfast integrity, to sin. When he rejected her advances, she went to her husband and falsely accused Joseph, which ultimately landed him in prison. Though he was no doubt confused and frustrated at such a bizarre turn of events, he remained faithful even while incarcerated. And once again, over time, God proved faithful, and gave him favor for his ability to interpret dreams. In the end, Joseph was promoted to second-in-command of the entire land of Egypt. (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)
By studying the stories of both of these great men, we discover that they were men of great integrity. Both were tried and tested by trials that could have left them bitter and wayward. Instead, they drew near to God in the hard times, remaining faithful and steadfast, and ultimately earning a place as the second-in-command, subject only to the king himself. So while we may tend to think that second place means less than God's best, often it's exactly where God wants His people, there in that very special place, using their God-given anointing to influence the man at the top.
Leaders in the Babylonians System Need Righteous Advisors
Vice President-elect Mike Pence is now in that favored second position. When I heard him share the story of his salvation experience, I saw clear evidence of a sweet and humble spirit, strong and willing to serve—a man anointed for such a time as this. Perhaps one of the secrets of Trump's success will be his faithful second-in-command, working behind the scenes to change the world.
Second place tends to be far less visible than first place, but the man in charge needs his second to help him stay on track. In fact, that role has not changed since the days of Daniel and Joseph. Even now that impact is deeply felt, even from the shadows. On a daily basis there are right-hand men, influencing the decision makers, keepers of the deepest secrets, allies in battles of ethics while facing less than ethical men attempting underhanded things. It's the job of the second to seek peace, mediate, and offer wisdom and encouragement to maintain the course throughout the many challenges that lie ahead.
Mike Pence is God's second for President Trump. Already I've heard they are in sync, praying together for God's leading on a daily basis. How can we not get excited knowing that the two at the top are seeking God's wisdom to turn things around? It then becomes our responsibility to pray a covering over them, for protection and wisdom to surround them, giving them favor with God and men as they move into the amazing days ahead; leading us to a greater America and preparing us to bring in the last massive harvest of souls before the long-awaited coming of our King—Jesus! 7 Prophetic Promises For 2017 by Robert Hotchkin

At the beginning of last month we entered the "Head of the Year" with the celebration of Rosh Hashanah. This brought us into the Hebrew year 5777. At the end of next month we will enter into the year 2017 on our much more widely observed Gregorian calendar. During this time of transition, the Lord has been speaking to me about what this new season holds. He has given me seven words for 5777/2017:
1. God is Hitting the Reset Button
This is the first word the Lord gave me for the new year, and I shared in detail about it last month. So I will quickly recap (if you would like to read the original word in more detail, please click here). The Lord spoke to me that He was getting ready to, "Hit the reset button."
This won't just be a chance to go back to square one and give it another go, but much more.  It will involve erasing past failures, frustrations, and fears; and removing former discouragements, disappointments, distraction and delays. It will also include the grace to break patterns that have limited or sabotaged in the past.
It will come with fresh vision to see situations, opportunities and even ourselves with renewed expectation.  This "reset" will be unto a "personal Genesis" – any place in our lives where there has been chaos, darkness or a void, His Spirit will hover and His light will break forth unto a "new day" (Genesis 1:1-5).
2. Lay Down Your Nets
In Matthew 4:19-20, when Jesus invited Peter and Andrew to follow Him, they laid down their nets. They did not need to do this because nets were inherently wicked or evil – nets are simply a tool. The invitation of the Lord was to walk with Jesus closely and discover new ways of doing things in Kingdom ways.
In this new year, the Lord is inviting us to, "Lay down our nets" so that there can be a restructuring and re-ordering of how we do things – all unto greater fruitfulness.  This invitation is not so much about being open to doing something new, as it is being open to doing what we have been doing in new ways. (Photo via Unsplash)
"Nets" are something that we can get trapped in if we're not careful.  God is inviting us, especially in areas where we have seen fruitfulness, to not get trapped in how we have done things in the past so that He can teach us new ways and bring us into increased productivity, favor and blessing. In this new year, be willing to, "Lay down your nets" as He invites you to embrace change and do things in new ways.
3. Unique and Interesting Doors Will Open
Experience and success in one area of your life will open doors for you in other, unrelated areas. These areas will be so unrelated to your past that you may wonder if it is a delusion or distraction to even consider them. Once you press past fear, doubt or confusion you will hit a "grace place" and know that you know that it is a divine opportunity.
Like Paul being called to the gentiles and Peter being called to the Jews (Acts 9:15, Galatians 2:7-8), it may not at first make sense, but it is God. The Lord spoke to me that Donald Trump has been a sign of this in the earth. His success in business opened a door for him to have an impact in the unrelated field of high-level politics.
As you sense these unique and interesting doors opening for you, do not get caught up in worry that your experience does not translate to the new field. What will translate is the confidence you gained in your previous success. David had no experience slaying giants, but the confidence he gained in himself and in his God during his days in the pasture with his sheep allowed him to embrace the unique and interesting opportunity to be the defender of Israel against Goliath and the Philistines (1 Samuel 17:36-37). (Photo via Unsplash)
4. Temperature Dropping, Pressure Decreasing
On Rosh Hashanah I was going to a "Head of the Year" event here in the Phoenix valley to share the prophetic words the Lord have given me for the new year.
As I was driving, a warning light came on in my Jeep alerting me that my tire pressure had suddenly gotten quite low. The warning light was near the display of the outside temperature, which I noticed had dramatically dropped to 72° – our temperatures in the greater Phoenix area continue to be around or above 100° throughout September and well into October.
When I stopped at a gas station to put air in my tires, the Lord spoke to me that many had been in the furnace of affliction and under tremendous pressure in the spirit, but He was declaring, "Enough is enough," and that now the pressure would begin to decrease and the temperature would start to drop.
He also said that His people – like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego would emerge, "Not even smelling of smoke" (Daniel 3:27). What the enemy meant for harm, God turns to the good (Genesis 50:20).
The heat and pressure the enemy sent, hoping it would destroy faith, actually tested and strengthened it. His people will emerge stronger and will see a great outpouring of breakthrough and blessing in this new season (Daniel 3:30, 1 Peter 1:7).
Interestingly, when I got back in my Jeep to continue on to the meeting, a torrent of rain began to fall – a great outpouring. God confirms His word with signs that follow (Mark 16:20).
5. "3-D Preachers" Will Break Forth
A great move of "3-D Preachers" is about to break forth from the streets in key cities around the world – one of the first we will see it in is London
Many who have come out of "difficult," "destitute," and "drug-addicted" backgrounds are about to have vivid, 3-D encounters with the living reality of God. As the Lord appears to them, they will be ignited to go forth as "dedicated, devoted disciples" revealing the reality of Him and His Kingdom with "divine, dramatic displays" that make Jesus real to those who had not been seeking Him (Romans 10:20).
Street corners and public places are about to come alive with the reality of Jesus through these "3-D Preachers" (Acts 8:6).
6. Offices Will Be Inhabited
For the past ten years, when not out on the road ministering or in our studio, I have worked out of my home – using my laptop computer and our kitchen counter as my workspace.
About a year ago the Lord spoke to me to turn one of our small spare bedrooms into a home office. Holy Spirit gave me a detailed vision of what the space would look like. I loved the idea and began to move forward on it.
I ended up running into one delay after another, one challenge after another. Tradesmen I had set up to come in and do a bit of the remodel work wouldn't show up. Little jobs with the floor or walls that should have taken a day or two ended up lingering on for weeks or even months.
The desk I had found a good deal on arrived all banged up. What should have taken a week or two at the most, ended up taking the better part of a year. All along the way people kept saying things like, "Well maybe you're not supposed to have that office." But I knew what the Lord said, and I knew what He had shown me. (Photo via Unsplash)
Eventually, much later than expected, the day came when I moved into the office.  On that day the Lord spoke to me and said, "Yes, it was a battle at times but you are now moving into the office I have for you in this season." I knew He was not speaking simply of the physical space, but of a spiritual office.
He then showed me that in this coming year many in the Body will finally inhabit offices that He has spoken to them about. For those of you who have felt like you were never going to "move into" the offices in ministry or in service that He has promised you, this is the year. One of your keys will be to not push to try and make your way in.
All along the way even with all the delays, God gave me peace and told me to allow the process to take the time it was taking – it was all unto something. Genesis 28:15 says that He will be with us constantly until He finishes bringing us into all that He has promised. This is the year He will open the door for many of you to inhabit the "office" He has called you to.
7. A Coming Move of Heroic Holiness
When we look at the last two decades in the Body of Christ, one of the things it has been marked by is the revelation of the Father's Heart (especially since the "Toronto Blessing"). One of the reasons for this great outpouring of the Father's Love has been to lay the foundation for a coming move of Heroic Holiness that is even now beginning to stir in the Church.
Scripture tells us that if we love the Lord, we will obey His Word (John 14:15), but it also says that we love Him because He first loved us (1 John 4:19).  From the profound revelation of the Father's love that He has been releasing to us for the past two-plus decades, a stirring is occurring in the hearts of His people that is marked by a "certainty of sonship" (Mark 1:11).
From this deep knowing of how completely loved, accepted, covered and cared for we are, there will be a radically-in-love-with-Jesus increase of righteous obedience completely free of religion, performance or self-righteousness. There will be an enthusiastic response to grab hold of the invitation to be holy as He is holy (1 Peter 1:14-16).
Holiness will be celebrated. Holiness will be appreciated. Holiness will be championed. This move of Heroic Holiness is stirring now as part of the mature sons arising that all of creation is groaning for (Romans 8:19, Hebrews 5:14). Men and women of God are going to embrace and run with this move of Heroic Holiness and have profound Kingdom impact in increasing spheres of influence. (Photo via Unsplash)
Prayer Directives: Let's Pray and Agree That:
1. Renewed beginnings are being released. Wherever there has been darkness, chaos or a void, God is sending forth His light and a "new day" is dawning.
2. There is great grace for flexibility and wisdom. We will embrace change, let go of past ways we have done things, follow Jesus more closely, and allow Him to reveal new tools and techniques for greater fruitfulness.
3. We will move in favor, faith and boldness, embracing unique and interesting opportunities the Lord puts before us.
4. The "pressure cooker" in the spirit that many have experienced is done. Command the pressure to decrease and the temperature to drop. And declare that we are emerging victorious, strengthened, purified and blessed.
5. In cities all around the world, preachers will declare the truth of Jesus with boldness and give powerful witness of the supernatural reality of Him and His Kingdom. Crowds will gather and listen intently because of the miracles that are performed.
6. All hindrances, blocks and delays are removed. God will is with us, and He will finish bringing us into all that He has promised.
7. The fire of His Love will burn up every selfish, arrogant, carnal or wicked thing in us. We will know, and make known, His Love in greater and deeper ways – grabbing hold of the promise and provision to be holy as He is holy. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List go here.)

Awakened to Destiny

We just returned from a wonderful Awakened to Destiny Conference sponsored by Randy Clark's Global Awakening Ministry.  The conference began on Wednesday and ended last night.  So many amazing things happened!  Randy Clark, Bill Johson, and Tom Jones gave such hopeful, encouraging Biblical messages!! We heard astonishing testimonies of miracles and healings!  Steve Swanson led the most anointed worship I have ever participated in!
When I attend these conferences I always wish my mainline church friends would go with me just once.  If they could see the awesome worship and the amazing healings, surely their faith would be stirred to want to see the same things in their churches.  How can anyone settle for something less than the Bible says we are to have and do?  Jesus commissioned us to go and preach the gospel but he also told us to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons.  I have no idea how we got to the place of such ineffective, boring Christianity that seems to be the norm today in so many churches (I'm sure I could do a little research in church history to find out, if I was really interested).  Why do so many believe we are to preach the gospel but leave off the rest of the commission?  Why are so many satisfied with only hearing a salvation message?  There is so much more after salvation!  Jesus said signs and wonders will follow those who preach the gospel.  How many signs & wonders have you seen in your church lately?
I believe there is a great need for revival in this country, but I am excited to report it is happening in many places already.  I pray "More, Lord!"

As Family We Go Story - Rend Collective

My friend, Mariann, sent me these links to the story behind two of Rend Collective's albums.  I not only love the message, but I love hearing it in their wonderful Irish accent!  Here is the first one.  I will post the second one below.

The Campfire Story continues - REND COLLECTIVE

Wonderful News!!

What wonderful news to wake up to!  I just couldn't stay optimistic while watching the mainstream media continue to assert Donald Trump had very little chance of winning so I turned off the TV, went to bed, and prayed till I fell asleep.
I truly believe God has raised up Donald Trump 'for such a time as this' and even though in the beginning I didn't realize this and wanted very much for Ben Carson to win the primary, I have come to see that it will take a bulldozer to clean up the mess the Obama administration (and others before him) have made of our country.
A friend pointed out to me that in this Jewish year, 5777,  that Donald Trump will be 70 years, 7 months, and 7 days old when he is inaugurated!  Amazing, isn't it?  I believe that is a confirmation from the Lord that Donald was chosen at birth for this assignment.
Now we, who believe in the power of prayer and who love our country, must really pray! This is just the beginning.

VOTE!!

This is such an important election.  Please don't sit this one out.  VOTE!   We need Donald Trump to win!  He is our only hope for change.  How anyone could consider voting for Hillary Clinton when every day there are new reports of her corruption and abuse of power is absolutely unfathonable to me!  Please consider the future of America.  Consider the appointments to the Supreme Court.  It is time for us to stand up.  We have been silent much too long.

Third Day - Soul On Fire (Official Lyric Video)

I love this song!  I want to be "a soul on fire" for the Lord, don't you?  I believe when that happens to enough Christians there will be a great revival in this land.  We must be "on fire" with His love and passion for people.  That is the only way they will be able to understand how much He loves them.
