The Chosen

Have you watched The Chosen series yet?  We just recently heard about it and have begun watching the series.  There is a good chance we will finish tonight because it is so good that we end up saying, "Let's just watch one more."

The series is an interesting concept.  It is billed as the largest crowd-funded media project of all-time, a multi-season series about the life of Christ.  It can only be streamed through an app on your phone or iPad so if you want to watch it on a bigger screen you need an adapter that can connect your device with an hdmi cord to a tv, or maybe you already have an AppleTV or some other way that lets you watch apps. (I am not so tech savvy no matter how hard I try to keep up!).  This wonderful series is available for free because others have "paid it forward".  The producers are in the process or raising money for the second season's production.

Yesterday I picked up the needed adapter and hooked my iPad to our big screen projector.  We watched 3 of the series of 8 last night with friends who loved it as much as we did!  All three videos were wonderful!  I am usually not much of a fan of Bible movies but these incorporate the culture as well as the Biblical stories.  I can hardly wait to watch the rest of them.  You won't want to miss The Chosen!
