I have been on an adventure the past couple of weeks. One I wouldn't have chosen but now that it is over it is one I wouldn't have wanted to miss.
On February 23, I had a D & C to determine the cause of an abnormal pelvic ultra sound. When the procedure was over, the doctor said he found polyps in my uterus but otherwise the tissue he removed didn't look abnormal to him but the lab would have the final say. One week later he called to say, "Bad news--the lab report said I had endometrial cancer and that he was referring me to a gynecological oncologist in Indianapolis." Of course, at that time I alerted 'the troops' asking those I knew who believed in the power of prayer to pray for the whole situation. And they truly did!
The doctor said I would need a hysterectomy and possibly radiation but didn't expect I would need chemo. He said his scheduling nurse would call with an appointment time when she was able to get me in. When she called, the earliest I could consult with a doctor was March 16. I was not excited about waiting that long because I assumed it would take another week or two to schedule the surgery after the consultation. Country Guy came home that afternoon saying he thought I should go to the Mayo Clinic. I told him I would be glad to go wherever he thought but I was not going to do the work to get there, so he began the process. It actually only took one phone call and about 45 minutes to get the whole thing set up.
Mayo scheduled me to meet with Dr. Bobbie Gostout at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 12 with surgery scheduled for Friday, March 13. After making these arrangements we looked up Dr. Gostout who we found was the Chairman of Gynecology at Mayo and had written papers on endometrial cancer and robotics hysterectomy--exactly what I would be needing! I had such peace throughout this process because it seemed all along the Lord had a hand in this and was directing our path. He got me into the best hospital in the U.S. with one of the best doctors in her field in less time than I could have the first appointment in Indy. One day I actually woke up excited to be going!
We left for Rochester Wednesday morning so that we could check into the hotel early and get a good night's sleep. When we met with Dr. Gostout and her resident we loved them! They were very patient and unhurried with their explanations and answered all our questions thoroughly. When Dr. Gostout was ready to leave she said, "I promise you I will do my very best for you during surgery." That was so touching I got teary so she hugged me and said how she loved my tender heart.
After the consultation they returned the records to us that I had asked to be faxed from Indiana. As we were looking them over we saw the lab result said I had Stage 2 cancer. (I had not asked the stage previously because I really didn't want to know until I was talking with someone who would treat it.)
Our daughter arrived from Nebraska Thursday evening for the weekend.
For several weeks I had been spending significant time with the Lord early in the morning but when I received the lab results I began truly seeking Him in earnest, asking Him what this all meant. I never expected I would have cancer. The doctor said the same. She said I didn't have the demographics of those who usually have cancer. I am not overweight. Both of my parents came from families of 7 children. I have 30+ first cousins and not one person that I know of in our family has ever had cancer. I feel He taught me some significant lessons through all of this which I wouldn't trade for anything,
I will attempt to share them in later posts.
The surgery took place beginning around 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The lab report came back as Stage 1A cancer. The surgeon said it was a tiny little cancer, totally contained, no lymph nodes were involved and I would need no further treatment. I have no doubt the power of praying friends & family won this great report for me. We are rejoicing and extremely grateful to God and to those who have loved us through it. It is not often you hear of cancers regressing in diagnosed stages in the 10 days from diagnosis to surgery! Praise the Lord!!
The doctor released me at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning! I rested the remainder of the day at the hotel and we drove 540 miles back to our house on Sunday. Needless to say, I am still tired and sore, but the worst of the ordeal is over. I am resting and recuperating and enjoying the love & great care of my husband, family & friends. What an adventure!

"Do not fear! Do not fear! I, the Creator of the ends of the earth, despise fear. Watch Me. Watch Me in March and in the spring; I shall arise and My tempest shall yield a great artillery against ISIS and against those who stand against My people."
And so when I woke this morning, and He said to me, "What next?" it was as if God was trying to say, I'm hearing so many people all over the earth having a bad report. But does anybody think that there is a possibility of a global awakening that will raise up millions of young men and women from the Middle East that get sick of Allah, sick of Mohammed and his lies, and will bow their knee to Yeshua?
You know what? I'm not just saying it – I believe it with my whole heart. I believe that's next. I said, I believe that's next!When God said those two words, He said, "What next?" He was challenging me to see where I was.

There is a great spirit of deception that has dropped throughout the earth, stealing by lies. You're afraid of ISIS? They're a small group of them, but because they're displayed and the images are seen, everybody's in so much fear. God said, "Tell Me what you want."

An Excellent Analogy
I was reading in Bill Johnson's A Life Of Miracles: A 180-day Guide to Prayer & Miracles this morning. I loved this analogy:
"...We have nothing without the Cross! Yet the Cross is not the end--it is the beginning, the entrance to the Christian Life.
Suppose I had been forgiven a financial debt. It could be said I have been brought out of the red. Yet after my debts are forgiven, I still am not in the black. I have nothing unless the one who forgave my debt gives me money to call my own, and that's what Christ did.
Why is this important? Because it profoundly changes our sense of identity and purpose. Jesus became pour that I could become rich. He suffered with stripes to free me from affliction, and He became sin so I might become the righteousness of God…"
The Western church has only taught part of this equation--that through the Cross Jesus has made the way for us to go to Heaven, but missed the important message--that He provided the means whereby we could partner with Him in bringing Heaven to earth. Did He not tell us to pray, "Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven"? So many people have been brought out of the red but don't realize there is a substantial sum deposited in their bank account to use while on earth.
Lord, open our eyes to the riches of our inheritance through your sacrifice on the Cross.

He is inviting us to exercise His authority to make reversal decrees concerning the very things the enemy has decreed over our lives in past seasons. As a result, hopelessness has set in, vision has been clouded, strategies have been wanting, and forward movement has been delayed. Yet I concur with the prophets who have been proclaiming 2015 as a turnaround year! Regardless of how great the hardship, betrayal, sickness or loss in 2014, this is your year of breakthrough! "This Is Your Turn Around Year! For Such A Time As This"
As of late, a spotlight has been placed on the Book of Esther and the Jewish celebration of Purim. Even the secular media has drawn parallels between the Biblical account of Queen Esther, commemorated during this time of year, and last week's bold actions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Queen Esther broke protocol to appeal to the king in a courageous attempt to save her people from a threat of annihilation.
Likewise, Prime Minister Netanyahu—without
President Obama's involvement—made an appeal to the U.S. Congress to intervene against the Iranian nuclear threat to Israel and the world. In Esther's day, the deliverance of the Jewish people initiated the holiday known as Purim. While last week's political events may have prompted me to write this article, the Feast of Purim has had my attention for the past few months.
In December of each year, I take time to study the Word and seek the Lord for prophetic revelation concerning the New Year. As I pressed into God concerning 2015, He highlighted some word definitions from within the book of Esther that are key to understanding and partnering with what God desires to do in this season.
According to the book of Esther, the Jewish people's existence was threatened when Haman, one of King Ahasuerus' trusted officials manipulated the king into issuing a decree for the annihilation of the Jews. Upon learning of Haman's decree, Esther, a Jewish woman chosen by King Ahasuerus to be his queen, exposed Haman's plan and appealed to the king for the salvation of her people. The king miraculously granted Esther's request and Haman was executed instead. The day after the decree of Haman was reversed, the feast of Purim began.
Time To Reverse And Overthrow
In Strong's Concordance, the Hebrew definition for the word numbered 2015 (haphak) is "to overturn, overthrow, turnaround, transform, be reversed." The following verses fromEsther 9 demonstrate the power of this concept.
"...when the king's command and edict were about to be executed, on the day when the enemies of the Jews hoped to gain the mastery over them, it was turned to the contrary so that the Jews themselves gained the mastery over those who hated them." (verse 1)
"Because on those days the Jews rid themselves of their enemies, and it was a month which was turned for them from sorrow into gladness and from mourning into a holiday; that they should make them days of feasting and rejoicing..." (verse 22)
"But when it came to the king's attention, he commanded by letter that his wicked scheme, which he had devised against the Jews, should return on his own head and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows." (verse 25)
The Message translation of Esther 9:25 uses a powerful illustration to convey the significance of what transpired: "But when Queen Esther intervened with the king, he gave written orders that the evil scheme that Haman had worked out should boomerang back on his own head."
I believe God is doing again this year what He did in Esther's day. God is moving us into a time of divine reversals! Of course, the Hebrew word for 2015 is not only found in the book of Esther, but throughout the Scriptures. Deuteronomy 23:5 uses the word when the curse Balaam released over the Jewish people was turned by God into a blessing because He loved them. Jeremiah 31:13 and Isaiah 61 use the word in reference to turning mourning into joy.
I believe this divine turnaround is true not only for families and individuals, but for entire regions and nations of the earth, as well. Wars will give place to harvest and areas of unrest will give way to righteousness—even in the darkest regions. There will be awakening and revivals in places where they have never existed. We must recognize, however, that the Lord is inviting us to partner with Him in releasing these supernatural boomerangs into the earth.
Time to Agree and Decree

Be it sickness, poverty, divorce, depression, rebellion, or any other form of oppression, these truths from Scripture convey the power of our words:
"You will also decree a thing and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways." (Job 22:28)
"Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant." (Jeremiah 1:9-10)
As stated in one of my previous writings, the Lord is calling us to shift from merely petitioning the Father, to also making decrees (official orders, edicts or decisions), declarations (announcements or formal statements) and proclamations (the process of binding and loosing) as we are prophetically inspired by Holy Spirit to do so. The power of God's decreed Word is extraordinary! It releases His creativity, His salvation, and yes, His judgments! He rules through His Words, and so must we.
Time To Feast and Rest
The number 15 is also associated with remembrance, celebration and rest after victory or harvest in the Scriptures. Throughout Scripture, we read accounts of the Jewish people instituting feast days—in response to and in commemoration of the Lord's providence—on the 15th day of the month. (Exodus 12-13, Leviticus 23, Esther 9).
The Feast of Tabernacles (15th of Tishri) was celebrated in remembrance of how God faithfully brought the Israelites through wilderness out of Egypt, and into the Promised Land. The Feast of Unleavened Bread (15th of Nisan) took place after Passover. It commemorated how the Lord preserved the lives of all those who put the blood of a sacrificial lamb on the doorpost of their house. The Feast of Purim (14th of Adar and Shushan Purim 15th of Adar) memorializes the day on which God gave the Israelites rest from their enemies, who wanted to destroy them. The stories behind these feasts paint a prophetic picture of what God desires to do among us in the year 2015.
As the Lord causes the strategies of the enemy to be overthrown, He will also bring us into a season of victory, celebration and rest. This rest does not imply the ceasing of activity, but a peaceful and joyful trust in the Lord. It is the place from which we derive renewed strength to move forward.
This Scriptural passage comes to mind:
"He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary." (Isaiah 40:29-31)
The year 2014 was one of great turmoil for many families, ministries and nations alike. In 2015, you will see a reversal of the enemy's decrees and strategies enacted against you. Stand confidently upon the Lord's promise of divine intervention; He has been working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28)! This year, God will cause light to break forth from darkness, turn curses into blessings, and mourning into joy (Isaiah 60 and 61)! Through the adversity of the past year, the Lord has been preparing you for the fulfillment of His promises over your life! And from this new place of celebration, victory and rest, the Lord desires that you partner with Him to help facilitate a righteous turnaround in this nation.
You were born for such a time as this!

Todd Bentley: Prophetic Word: "A New Thing! March 8 – April 8"
I continue to be encouraged by 'words' received from The Elijah List. This last one by Todd Bentley gives hope and promise of great things to come as we 'spring forth' in this new season.
This is a Prophetic word I believe will greatly encourage you and release you into NEW things in this season of NEW beginnings. Please be in prayer and encourage others with this promise.
Many weeks ago, the Holy Spirit told me to watch the dates "March 8 to April 8." He was speaking to me about how beginning with March 8, there was a new season of revival and fruitfulness for the Church. That this would be a new time of fresh visitation. Of course, at the time that I heard the Lord speak to me about this, I did not realize that March 8 would be the first day of "spring forward".
Beginning March 8, everything LEAPS FORWARD or springs forth with a new acceleration. I realized March 8 and April 8 are double 8's that speak of a double portion of new beginnings! Everything about this season is the double double.
Another significant event about this time was that my wife, Jessa, and two others we know had dreams about March 8 being a "birthday" or "birth day". We understood this as March 8 would be the day of a new birthing. The Holy Spirit highlighted to us that this is the 3rd month and 8th day, which added together is the number 11. This number is significant because in Scripture the number 11 represents "prophecy and revelation, or prophecy fulfilled."
For me the number 11 is a strategic number the Lord gives me to remind me about the double portion. When I see the numbers 11:11, I know the Lord is speaking to me about the double 11, which is Isaiah 22:22. This is a promise of authority to open and close doors and to bind and loose His Kingdom. We know that 2015 is a season of walking through the double doors, and I believe that this season begins March 8!
I spoke with Doug Addison about the word I had about March 8, and he shared with me the following message:
"Hey, I released a word last month about March 8. When we set the clocks forward things are going to accelerate and it is on March 8. This is a major turnaround time and yes it is my birthday, both spiritual and natural. On 3-8-88, I came out of the occult. When I saw that I said, 'There it is again, the Double 8.' The word I released was that on March 8 there is going to be a breaking away of all that is happened since 2008. (That is a seven year cycle of completion in your life.) It is a new season of wisdom and revelation and a slingshot of repayment is here." –Doug Addison
Having heard Doug Addison share his heart, it further confirmed that March 8th would be the beginning of many breakthroughs and acceleration for the Body of Christ.
These are the Scriptures the Lord gave me to declare over us so we can enter into the new season of acceleration and breakthrough:
"Stop dwelling on past events and brooding over times gone by. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Isaiah 43:18-19
"See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you." Isaiah 42:9
This is exciting as the Lord is promising something that has not before occurred, some unheard of and wonderful events, that shall far surpass all that He had formerly done. It will be SPRING FORTH, which means in this time it shall spring up as the grass does from the earth; or it shall bud forth like the opening leaves and flowers as a new time of fruitfulness. God is also saying that every seed will spring forth as a germinating herb: a beautiful image of the silent but certain gradual growth of every seed planted that is about to blossom.

Lana Vawser: United States of America, It Is Time to Fight!
I have had the United States of America on my heart all week and felt the Lord speak to me about this wonderful nation. I saw a lot of turbulence in the spirit and saw a great spiritual battle happening over this nation. As I looked closer I saw some "scales" and the "scales" were being tipped to and fro; and when I looked closer I saw that one side of the scales were the plans and purposes of God and all that He wants to pour out in the USA, and the other side was all the enemy wants to bring into this nation through strife, division, deceit, lies, oppression, hatred, and murder.
Below these scales I saw the verse John 10:10, "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)," and that is exactly what I was seeing in these scales. On one side the "life" that Jesus wants to bring to the nation and the people in it through His glorious love and life, and on the other side of the scales was the enemy coming to steal, kill and destroy.
I then heard the Lord say, "United States of America is at a TIPPING POINT and it is TIME TO FIGHT."
I felt the Lord saying that the time of "contending" has arrived – the time of really taking in what the Lord has said and is saying (take His Word and pray and declare His promises into this nation). As I sensed this urgency in the spirit I felt a real excitement as I felt the Lord's heart for what He wants to do in this nation. This nation being called as one who will lead, one who will move forward in great generosity and resource for the world, and a nation of great wisdom. A nation that was destined to arise in wisdom to release to the world. A nation that would lead in creativity, innovation, generosity and demonstrating what a nation can do when they are founded on the Word and His wisdom. That it is also a nation that was destined to demonstrate to the world what a nation can do when they are bound in godly unity, and the enemy is doing all he can in this nation to bring division, hatred and steal life.
As I felt this excitement in my spirit again I heard the Lord say, "There is a fight for the destiny of the USA right now. The destiny of America hangs in the balance."
The Lord is calling His people to arise and pray for the United States of America. It is time to contend!
INTERCESSORS WILL HAVE GREATER SIGHT
I saw the intercessors in the United States of America on their knees crying out to the Lord and contending for her destiny. I saw the intercessors looking into the heart of the nation and all around the nation in different areas and I could see the turbulence that they were seeing. Such upheaval and a heavy battle happening in the spiritual realm and they were fighting and fighting through prayer. I saw many were beginning to get tired of fighting and many were becoming discouraged in their contending. It was then I heard the words, "MICHAEL BE RELEASED."
I then saw Michael the Archangel, and he was released from Heaven in some of the heaviest artillery I have ever seen and a machete that was so big; and he was shining bright with the Glory of the Lord and I saw what looked like the Word of God around his waist. As I looked closer I saw that what he was carrying around his waist were all the prayers of the intercessors and prayers of the saints.
Prayers are being heard. The Lord is seeing the heart cries of His people to see His Kingdom built and established in greater ways in the United States of America and Heaven IS RESPONDING.
I then began hearing prayers for President Obama, prayers for protection in schools, prayers to stop abortions, prayers to stop the murder, the hatred, the division; all at once I could hear these prayers in my spirit. As they were prayed to Heaven, I saw them then fall like notes to Michael, no matter where he was and he was responding to the prayers.
With his machete I saw him moving through the United States of America and he was clearing away things that were standing in opposition to God and His Word. And as I looked behind him there were thousands and thousands and thousands of angels. He was leading an army of angelic hosts into the USA as His people prayed and the intercessors contended.
He was creating a pathway; a path was being made. As he made this path all the angels behind him were following him and releasing insight and greater wisdom into the nation, upon His people, and I saw larger portions being poured out on Pastors, Prophets, Evangelists, Teachers, and Apostles (the 5-fold ministry). In my heart I wondered what this path was being created for and straight away into my spirit came the words, "Prepare Ye the way for the Glory of God to be seen and some of the greatest visitations of God that the United States of America has ever seen."
There was such a comfort, such a love and encouragement from the Lord in my heart to encourage the people of the United States of America to NOT give up praying. No matter what you see in the natural continue to pray, continue to contend, continue to stand, for the Lord has released Michael and thousands of angels into this nation to prepare a way for the Lord to visit this nation in greater ways with His Glory. His Glory is to be seen in churches, in meetings, in the marketplaces, on the streets, and in government.
America is at a tipping point, it is time to contend!
GOVERNMENTS
As I saw the wisdom being poured out into the nation, I saw the government of the United States before my eyes, and the presidential office, and it is almost hard to explain but I could feel the whole building crying out for the wisdom of God. I was reminded of Luke 19:40 about the rocks crying out to testify of the Glory of God. I sensed such a cry in the spirit for the wisdom of God upon the government of the United States of America, for the White House and for President Obama. No matter political opinions or stances, there was a cry in the spirit for the people of God to be praying for wisdom for the White House and for President Obama.
I then began to hear prayers in my spirit of many of the saints praying for President Obama to have an encounter with Jesus, for his eyes to be opened to see truth, and for any deceit to fall away. Instantly I then saw the name "Daniel" before my eyes and saw a man in the spirit standing in different governmental buildings (including the White House) in the spirit, and he was standing before governmental leaders prophesying, interpreting dreams and visions, and relaying wisdom to these leaders.
I felt the Lord saying that doors of TREMENDOUS favor are going to open for many in the government of the United States of America to go in and declare the Word of the Lord. To bring wisdom, revelation, interpret dreams and visions and bring encounters into these places.
The prayers of the people of God for these doors of great favor to open were CRUCIAL. The prayers of God's people to see revival, encounters and alignment to happen in the American Government were going to create a pathway for the Lord to move amazingly in this nation. As the people of God pray, the scales would be tipped in the government to begin to see the atmosphere SHIFT and His Kingdom COME.
Hatred of the American Government was to be repented of, despite actions done and things said that may not have lined up with the Word of God. There was to be heavenly declarations spoken over the American Government, decrees of Heaven and blessing prayed over the government, as many have felt 'cursed' by the government's actions and the Spirit of God was going to move in a tremendous way.
CHILDREN
I also felt the Lord saying that there will be encounters with Jesus in children and schools as the people of God pray. The Lord is going to visit the children and they will have dreams and visions of Jesus. They will see His Word made manifest. Blueprints and revelations from Heaven will be given TO THE CHILDREN and they will begin to speak out all they see, and there will be great breakthrough released into the United States in the areas of creativity and economy that will come through the mouths of babes.
I also saw that in these encounters children will be having with the Lord, there will be healings on the increase and testimonies of Jesus arising. Jesus meeting children in their dreams, in their homes and bringing healing to bodies and hearts. Children meeting Jesus in their dreams and seeing the Gospel truth and telling their friends and families of the Jesus they met, and salvations exploding.
HE WILL MAKE A WAY
People of God be encouraged as you pray; He is going to make a way! In the natural things may look dim but He is going to make a way as the people of God contend as the spiritual battle increases now.
America is at a tipping point and the Lord wants America to move into her destiny. Do not be discouraged, but know that your prayers are being heard and God is responding to your prayers. Heaven has a glorious destiny for the United States of America and the enemy is attempting to destroy it, but people of God ARISE as the victorious people of God that you are. ARISE in prayer and CALL the United States of America into her destiny.
He WILL make a way where there seems to be no way!!!

Words To Live By
Today as I was reading Heidi Baker's devotional Reckless Devotion I was particularly encouraged by the following two quotes. I know they will encourage you, too.
"In life we go through bumpy patches. It is inevitable. But it does not need to be unfruitful. Suffering connects us to the heart of God like nothing else. Instead of becoming bitter about our circumstances, we can ask Father to birth a deeper compassion in us. Suffering is a season. Seasons come and go. When you move into the next season of your life, take compassion, not bitterness, with you.
Remember to rejoice."
And…
"Never reduce your theology to your experience. Believe every word God says. Be thankful for everything. And know that it is time to get out your running shoes and finish the race. Run with perseverence and never, ever give up!"

Dave Ramsey's Response to Criticism of the Cost of His House.
I just read this 'explanation' by Dave Ramsey after he received comments by people who thought he shouldn't have such an expensive house. I love it! If people would spend more time following his principles instead of criticizing the results of him following those principles they would be much happier and much more productive!
If he lived in a shack, would they think his advice was worth following?

I just found this discussion from a twitter link. Wow. Thanks for all of your concern about my soul, my reputation and my witness. Please continue to pray for me because wisdom is sometimes elusive. The teacher in me has to reach out and help with proper biblical and life view points for some of you.
First, None of this is any of your business nor is it your problem, however in an effort to teach I have always been overly transparent. So I will try to help.
1) We tithe 10% of our before tax income to our local church
2) We have a family foundation that God allows us to give many times what our personal home or other items cost, so we give much more of God’s money to his kingdom that we live on percentage wise.
3) No Gary, we don’t have any debt any where of any kind. No corporate debt, no credit cards, no mortgage debt, no blind trusts, and no kind of debt no where no how. Didn’t you hear? I don’t believe in debt.
4) Before making a large purchase of any kind we ask God if that is what he wants us to do with HIS money. Like you I sometimes hear clearly and other times I am not sure. In the case of our home I was very sure.
5) Our home is a very small percentage of our net worth.
6) In the two years we have lived here we have had many many functions to fund raise for ministries, charities, and community causes. Millions of dollars have flowed through those events. We view our home, like everything in our life, as a tool to be used for the kingdom.
7) Yes, it blows my mind how much it costs to maintain a lot of things God has called me to manage. We have a 64,000 square foot office building (paid for) that we spend a lot of natural resources and money to keep operating and from where I came from it is sometimes hard to emotionally grasp the zeros. However, I man up, and step up to do what God gave me to do. It is weird some days though.
8) I used to say ignorant things like “what does anyone need with a ______ like that” when I was immature. Now I have been blessed to see how God uses people who are obedient when they are broke and when they aren’t. I was with a really Godly guy a few weeks ago worth 2.2 BILLION. He gives 300-500 million a year. Some of you sent him hate mail worried about his soul because he bought a $110,000 car. That does not make him wrong, that makes that person silly, foolish, and spiritually immature. Note: God gave HIM 2.2 Billion to manage, God did NOT assign you to help.
Thanks again for your concern and please continue to pray for me as I am perfectly capable of messing this whole deal up. So far though, I am not inconsistent between my message and my life. So far I have managed to keep God First, Sharon Second, my kids third, and serving all of you fourth. I am having a blast and I thank all you who do understand.
P.S. I will not be visiting back to see your comments because I already know what they are: Some get it, Some don’t.

Frank Laubach: Learning the Vocabulary of God: A Spiritual Diary
I have been thinking it is time to re-dig some wells. Many years ago I became familiar with some great giants in the faith through Camps Farthest Out. To me their wisdom and experience far surpassed most of what we see in Christian circles today and I was needing a 'shot in the arm'. I looked through a box of books I brought from Tommy Tyson's library after he died and found a short book by Frank Laubach entitled Learning the Vocabulary of God: A Spiritual Diary. It chronicles one of his trips to India where he was contemplating how to represent Jesus to these people and also how he could help them to rise above the poverty he saw there. I am reading it slowly since it is a diary.
Here are a couple of gems I found today:
In the Preface of the book he says, '"Ask God, "How can I do the most for the world?" and will He not answer, "Live the most Christlike life you can, and let men see it"?'
On February 24, 1937, he wrote: 'HE said, "Where is your faith?" We all feel amazed at Jesus and try to give Him praise. What God seeks is not praise, but growth into the likeness of Christ, into the achievements of Christ. Any fear that we cannot be like Him, even when we ask God, is what Jesus rebuked and rebukes yet, because we are to become strong, not to apologize for failing all our lives. Astonishment does not please Jesus, for He is not a slight-of-hand performer but fearlessly real. "They being afraid wondered." We do that in the presence of illness or of nature's disasters. We cringe like slaves; we do not stand unafraid like some. In three consecutive pages of Luke, Jesus shows us how to command wind, waves, devils, and death. We are making many Christians in India. We do not seem to be making many miracle working Christians like Sadhu Sundar Sing. We preach and practice a weak Christianity.
"Be not afraid! Be strong in . . . the power of his might." A flabby Christian is too weak to conquer self, afraid of other people--this curses our age.'

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION AND CALL TO PRAY FOR AMERICA AND ISRAEL TODAY AT THE START OF "PURIM"
Robert Stearns: Netanyahu as Mordecai, America as Esther
In the story of Esther, celebrated during the Feast of Purim, which begins tonight, Esther and her relative, Mordecai, are very close in heart and relationship, though separated by distance. Esther, through her beauty, has won a coveted position of safety and economic security in the walls of the palace of Ahasuerus. Mordecai, and most of the Jewish community, are living off in the Persian land of Shushan. The evil Haman launches a plot to destroy the Jews, and the imminent threat of this plot is felt keenly in Shushan, where, the story says, the Jews are "perplexed"... They are experiencing a real threat that no one else in the kingdom seems aware of, nor is taking seriously.
Mordecai boldly acts. He draws upon his relationship with Esther, and, risking her displeasure, speaks strongly to her, fully apprising her of the dire threat facing the Jews in the region, and imploring Esther to use her position to influence in the government to act, and to act decisively and immediately.
Esther, perceives herself as far from the imminent danger which Mordecai knows is real, and feels largely immune to the threat. She is doing the best she can, she seems to communicate, and to take any more decisive action could upset the delicate balance at Court which has secured her favor. "Over 30 days have passed since I have been called in to the King..." she reports. Bureaucracy, it seems, moved slow, even in ancient Persia.
It is at this point that Mordecai's cry cuts like a knife to the heart of the story. Mordecai risks everything – even the good favor he had currently enjoyed with the King and within the kingdom, to arouse Esther from her distracted and misguided passivity. Was this because Mordecai felt his life was at risk? In part. But he also realized that Esther's life was just as much at risk as his. If Esther did not act, and act immediately, and act decisively, all would be lost. It was not up to Mordecai to tell Esther how to act. But act she must. The time for talk and waiting was over.
And Now... We have just witnessed a moment in history of Biblical proportion, where indeed, the ancient Jewish calendar and the modern political one have aligned. Mordecai (Benjamin Netanyahu) has come to our shores. The message has been presented. The king does not understand what is going on. It is up to Esther to act. Now.
And act she will, for she must. Across this nation, pastors and rabbis, genuinely reform-minded Muslims and human rights activists, grandmas and undergrads, evangelicals and atheists – everyone and anyone concerned about the future of this planet must stand up, now, and understand what is at stake. Seventy years ago, world leaders inanely jabbered about the good Hitler was doing and how he would bring peace and stability to the region, until Chamberlain's (UK's Prime Minister at the time) appeasement lunacy quickly melted under the stark blazing glare of reality. Churchill (upcoming UK Prime Minister) arose and prophesied into a generation which then stood firm and resolute against the greatest evil in modern times. We are at that moment again.

They are experiencing a real threat that no one else in the kingdom seems aware of, nor is taking seriously.
Mordecai boldly acts. He draws upon his relationship with Esther, and, risking her displeasure, speaks strongly to her, fully apprising her of the dire threat facing the Jews in the region, and imploring Esther to use her position to influence in the government to act, and to act decisively and immediately.
Esther, perceives herself as far from the imminent danger which Mordecai knows is real, and feels largely immune to the threat. She is doing the best she can, she seems to communicate, and to take any more decisive action could upset the delicate balance at Court which has secured her favor. "Over 30 days have passed since I have been called in to the King..." she reports. Bureaucracy, it seems, moved slow, even in ancient Persia.
It is at this point that Mordecai's cry cuts like a knife to the heart of the story. Mordecai risks everything – even the good favor he had currently enjoyed with the King and within the kingdom, to arouse Esther from her distracted and misguided passivity. Was this because Mordecai felt his life was at risk? In part. But he also realized that Esther's life was just as much at risk as his. If Esther did not act, and act immediately, and act decisively, all would be lost. It was not up to Mordecai to tell Esther how to act. But act she must. The time for talk and waiting was over.
And Now... We have just witnessed a moment in history of Biblical proportion, where indeed, the ancient Jewish calendar and the modern political one have aligned. Mordecai (Benjamin Netanyahu) has come to our shores. The message has been presented. The king does not understand what is going on. It is up to Esther to act. Now.
And act she will, for she must. Across this nation, pastors and rabbis, genuinely reform-minded Muslims and human rights activists, grandmas and undergrads, evangelicals and atheists – everyone and anyone concerned about the future of this planet must stand up, now, and understand what is at stake. Seventy years ago, world leaders inanely jabbered about the good Hitler was doing and how he would bring peace and stability to the region, until Chamberlain's (UK's Prime Minister at the time) appeasement lunacy quickly melted under the stark blazing glare of reality. Churchill (upcoming UK Prime Minister) arose and prophesied into a generation which then stood firm and resolute against the greatest evil in modern times. We are at that moment again.

Mordecai (Benjamin Netanyahu) has come to our safe and economically secure shores. He has warned us of the real and imminent danger of a nuclear Iran, though it seems far removed from us. He has cut through the bureaucratic morass of lumbering government to sound a clear alarm. The beautiful Esther that is America must awaken now, and act, before it is too late.

Pray Today For Benjamin Netanyahu
Today is a day of fast for millions who are praying for Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech to Congress. I hope many of you are joining us. I pray his words will light fires in the hearts of our congressmen not only to do the right thing for Israel, but to have a backbone and desire to do the right thing for our courntry.

"My Spirit will reveal superior power and authority through My Believer champions at levels and in numbers never before seen in your times. What Will Happen When My Glory Surges For You Today?
"When it was time for My people to leave the bondage of Egypt and shift into the land I promised, My glory surged. I presented My presence in fire and cloud, leading the way to promised inheritance.
"Hear the word of the Lord, it is immutable counsel: Leave bondage and enter inheritance promised. Delay no longer! Step into a season of greater glory and receive promise, after promise, after promise, after promise. Yokes of bondage will be broken under the increasing weight of greater glory. I will increase the weight of My power and My presence," says the Lord, "and I will shatter the tethered yoke. I will lead the way.
"Rise and shine, your light has come; the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. It is now the season when glory will surge upon you in demonstrably real, tangible, and visible ways. You are entering the season of surge, after surge, after surge, after surge of My glory.

"When it was time to shift from law to grace at Pentecost, My glory surged. My glory became demonstrably real. My presence was revealed in fire, and in wind, and in sounds from Heaven, and My people were anointed to be heirs with power. The surge of My presence in your times, in today's Pentecost, will now increase in more and more weight, and the increased weight of who I am will release anointing in you to be who you are: anointed heirs flowing in ever-increasing grace and glory; heirs anointed to release the purpose of your King upon the earth; heirs anointed to prevail over the forever loser; heirs with ordained destinies; heirs ruling and reigning with great authority; heirs that give witness in Holy Spirit power.
"The King's presence will now surge in your midst with outpouring, after outpouring, after outpouring of power, of refreshing, of giftings, of anointings, empowering you to be who you really are – heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ; heirs on Heaven's assignment!
"Yes, it is time for a new surge of the glorious power of your God! It is time to bring promises to fullness – fully fulfilled promises," says the Lord. "It is the season for My presence to become heavier, and heavier, and heavier, and heavier! The Spirit of the Lord says, "I will now demonstrate the power released in the shed Blood of Christ the Almighty at promised levels. I will now shift My remnant into the life sources purchased by the Creator's Blood. There will now come a flow, and an overflow, of power from Heaven that is expansive, explosive, and expedient. The opportune advantage of Christ's redeemed Blood of sacrifice will now be clearly seen upon My people, as favoring graces have been compounded," says the Lord. "Favoring graces have now been released, multiplied anointings that will now be seen in your times."
The Lord says, "I have led My people from glory to glory, and now I will take them even higher into My presence; and now, from My manifest presence, the world will see the synergy of the ages. It will see the synergy of prayer bowls of Heaven. It will see the culminating purpose of the Cross of the mighty Savior. It will see the awesome supernatural and superseding power of the Cross. It will see the power of the Blood of Emmanuel. It will see the purchasing power of the Blood of covenant that releases ordained inheritance, for yes, you are coming full circle into another Pentecost.
"I will now demonstrate the power of My Blood that supersedes the power of the blood of lambs sacrificed in Egypt; for," the Lord decrees, "the greatest exodus in world history will not be the million souls that were brought out of Egypt. It will be the exodus of a billion souls brought out of the Kingdom of darkness and transferred into the Kingdom of light! I will have My harvest!" says the Lord.
"You will see revival roll through your land. Riders of destiny will now mount holy steeds and they will ride Me into battle. Hell has never seen the like. The Church has never done the like. My angel armies have mounted war horses to reinforce and to battle alongside My remnant warriors.

The Weather & Farmers
We woke up to a beautiful 8 inches of snow on top of our already 4-5 yesterday. There is no wind so the snow is stacked on tree branches, bird feeders and bushes.
My dad was a farmer so the weather played a significant part in our lives and was much cause for anxiety in me as I was growing up because Dad would say how we needed rain, or we had too much, or the days were too chilly for corn to grow, or the sun was so hot on the already stressed crops they were going to die, or it looked like we could have an early frost which would kill the beans. I always said I never wanted to marry a farmer and I didn't, but the Lord sneaked one in on me anyway. My husband practiced law for 33 years. When his father died in 1980 he also became overseer of the grain elevator and proceeded over the years to grow it into a sizable organization. When he retired we moved back to Illinois where he continued to be involved with the elevator business and took over the farming operation. So, you see, I am again very dependent on the weather.
I say all this so I can show you why the snow was not welcome--even if it is beautiful. Two weeks ago on Saturday we had a terrific windstorm which rippped the tarp on the grain pile at the elevator and blew it completely off the west side.
(When filling the pile the air tubes are laid in place and the tarp is placed over them before any grain is added. The grain is never exposed to the elements as the tarp is lifted by the grain. Once it comes off there is no way to put it back on because it is so heavy.)
Even though it is preferable to wait till April to empty the pile there was no choice. The guys removed the rest of the tarp, sold a couple of trains to move the grain, and thought it would work out fine since the forecast was for zero precipitation for several days. (Because of the volume of grain in the pile it takes about 10 days to empty it.) So much for weather forecasts! That Sunday night it snowed 3 inches. And then a couple of days later it snowed 2 or 3 more. The temps were below zero a couple of nights following the snow and some days didn't get above 20 so the machinery for emptying the pile froze and then malfunctioned. The photo below is what the pile looked like last week. As you can see some of it has been emptied. Since our lane has not been plowed, I haven't seen what it looks like today, but I'm sure it is not looking good. And now there is an inch of rain forecast for tomorrow. I'm sure you're getting the drift--pun intended--of my reasons for not enjoying the weather as much as I would like to.
I'm adding the last picture so you can see what the pile looks like with the tarp on and also so you can see what a huge operation it was to replace a small section that blew off a couple of years ago.
