Sunset at Longboat Key

We've had another leisurely day on Longboat Key.  We read for awhile, walked to the Blue Dolphin for a late breakfast, read some more, took another walk on the beach, watched the sunset and went to St. Armand's Circle for dinner at Tommy Bahama's and a waffle cone at Kilwin's.  I think I could get used to this life!  The weather has been perfect!  The temperature today was 77 degrees.  Mom just called to tell me it was freezing rain in Illinois so that makes it even more fun being here.
Tomorrow we are driving to Naples to have lunch with old friends and former neighbors, Joe & Michel,  from Omaha.  Michel & I used to walk together.  We haven't seen them in several years so we've  really been looking forward to our reunion!

I thought you might enjoy seeing a sunset on the Gulf of Mexico, taken from our balcony, if you've never had the opportunity to see one--or if you just want to be reminded how beautiful they are.  It seems each one is different.
