What a fun mushroom hunt we had yesterday even if it was raining! It started when Country Guy & my sister, Barb, found a huge patch of yellow mushrooms and called me & my brother, Dave, to come see them. We found 137 on the morning hunt and then went back for another look in the afternoon. By the end of the day I think the total reached nearly 200 as our grandson, Daniel, joined us for the afternoon hunt, and then other family members went again later.
Daniel found one that was 7 1/2 inches tall.
Last night we fried enough to feed about 20 and still had some left! Here are a few pictures to whet your appetite.
