We Have Met The Enemy



PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT:  ”A date which will live in infamy.”
PRESIDENT EISENHOWER:  ”A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both.”
PRESIDENT LINCOLN:  ”America will never be destroyed from the outside.  If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”
PRESIDENT TRUMAN:  ”The buck stops here.”
PRESIDENT KENNEDY:  ”Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.”
PRESIDENT OBAMA:  ”I have a pen and a phone.”
What is this, “Thus Spake Zarathustra”?  I guess we have the ubermensch among us and apparently nobody including a majority of Congress will acknowledge the president’s messianic superiority, which was on display again during his most recent huffing and puffing session.  Who ever thought we’d have a foot-stomping, tempestuous brat and inexperienced administrator for a president?  ”I have a pen and a phone”?. . .
